A Race War Is Inevitable

I had hoped not, but this isn’t encouraging:

A Chinese-American intern working for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has written a first-person account of his attempt to cover the aftermath of the Sylville Smith shooting. Aaron Mak says he was attacked by a group of people who chased and beat him because he wasn’t black. He was then rescued by other people in the crowd who pointed out that he was Chinese, not white.

Oh, our bad. So terribly sorry about that sir, let me help you up. By the by, have you perchance seen any white people around?

Lest you feel sympathy, the Asian kid was actually a #BlackLivesMatter supporter, even as he was running down the street yelling at his white friend to run for his life, and then taking a beating himself.

Now clearly this is not all black Americans, but that doesn’t matter. As threat approaches, humans are programmed to in-group around broad variables. Incidents like this will mix with agitated amygdalae and spread like wildfire, making lots of whites distrust blacks, and lots of blacks distrust whites. It is an uncontrollable mechanism rooted in biology and produced through eons of evolution. And once it starts, it will accelerate, with each side’s distrust feeding the other’s.

Questions like, “Is it right, or is it wrong?,” will give way to the simple reality – “Is it safe?” If there are cases like this, whites will separate from blacks, blacks will separate from whites, and the nation will self-segregate. And I will bet it happens fast.

I mainly bring it up because whether white or black, if you live in a neighborhood now which doesn’t look like you, you either need to get to know all your neighbors really well to overcome this effect, or you need to start looking to ensconce yourself in a neighborhood where you won’t stand out.

Of course where this will really manifest is in the liberal cities. Lots of #BLM next to rich lily white liberals who see violence as anathema will not end well for the left. As they say, Diversity + Proximity = War.

Nothing about the Apocalypse will be logical and reasoned. Understand that going in. All that will matter is what is.
