China will downsize its 2.3 million-strong army, the world’s largest, to under one million in the biggest troop reduction in its history as part of a restructuring process, an official Chinese daily said.
The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will increase the numbers of other services, including navy and missile forces, the PLA Daily, the official newspaper of the Chinese military, reported.
Jun Zhengping Studio, a Chinese social WeChat account run by the newspaper published an article yesterday on structural reform in China’s military, saying that “the old military structure, where the army accounts for the vast majority, will be replaced after the reform”.
“The reform is based on China’s strategic goals and security requirements. In the past, the People’s Liberation Army focused on ground battle and homeland defence, which will undergo fundamental changes,” the report said.
“This is the first time that active PLA army personnel would be reduced to below one million,” it said.
Everybody has to know a World War is coming. China is set to get it worst of all when all of the debt it is owed is paid off in worthless inflated currency. I would have thought that right now, given what is coming, the Chinese would want to build up every part of their military for the coming storm.
But the Chinese have a problem, in the form of hundreds of millions of single young men with no prospects of marriage and nothing to lose. When the Apocalypse hits them, they could become their own army over night, pointed right at the government.
What is coming is so bad that everyone will do anything, at any cost, just to try and buy a little bit of time before it all comes down. When the brightest minds, with the most in-depth information consider what is coming, nobody is even able to consider trying to blunt the horror of the Apocalypse with a little sacrifice now. All they can do is panic, and try to find some way to forestall the inevitable, even if it is just for a little while longer.

The Chinese government will likely blame the USA for its problems. That might save it for a while longer- but would result in a war.
Maybe they would rather have an entirely reliable army that a large army. They ought to ensure that all those troops they retain have wives.
Re the worthless debt, the Chinese have been in on the BIS’s transition plan for around 20 years.
Hence they now own a huge amount of gold, so do their citizens, and they have unmined gold.
Believe me, they will become very wealthy in the coming years, when at least one zero is added to the current gold price (in today’s terms, not inflated terms).
