If you haven’t seen the video, it is worth a look:
That is a K-strategist. He didn’t run, he didn’t flinch, he didn’t even look surprised. He just spun, threw himself off the podium at the direction of the threat, and prepared to attack. He even appeared to begin to push the Secret Service guy aside, to get a better opening to deal with the attack. This guy is the real deal.
I cannot think of another politician who would, on a moment’s notice, square off to throw down with any nutjob, even one who he hadn’t even laid eyes on yet.
Notice also the media narrative. The Google search I did had the first three articles list Trump’s reaction as “panic,” “cower,” and “duck,” though those had no relation to his reaction. He squared off, faced the threat, and prepared to fight.
More and more, this is the only candidate in the race.
I agree, that’s a pretty impressive reaction.
