Foreign Hackers Penetrated State Systems

On some level, this is very scary:

The FBI has uncovered evidence that foreign hackers penetrated two state election databases in recent weeks, prompting the bureau to warn election officials across the country to take new steps to enhance the security of their computer systems, according to federal and state law enforcement officials.

The FBI warning, contained in a “flash” alert from the FBI’s Cyber Division, a copy of which was obtained by Yahoo News, comes amid heightened concerns among U.S. intelligence officials about the possibility of cyberintrusions, potentially by Russian state-sponsored hackers, aimed at disrupting the November elections.

Those concerns prompted Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to convene a conference call with state election officials on Aug. 15, in which he offered his department’s help to make state voting systems more secure, including providing federal cyber security experts to scan for vulnerabilities, according to a “readout” of the call released by the department.

Some are saying Russians, but that is what the government would say if it was Soros.

It will be funny if this election comes down to whether Russia, trying to keep the world from collapsing into the kind of Muslim dominated anarchy Obama has wrought, or Soros, trying to create more such chaos, have the better hackers.

I’m still surprised Russia hasn’t killed Soros yet.

Russia probably doesn’t take out Soros because he’s under watch. If they take him out, they lose their network of spies and sabetours around him, and somebody else will pick up where he left off.

I’m still surprised Russia hasn’t killed Soros yet.

Or the Japanese, after he deliberately crashed their economy.
Imagine if they’d abducted him, and had their emperor behead him with a katana, live on TV.

we are being “nudged” toward the cliff. didn’t they want homeland security to take over the elections and this is how they show us it is for our protection.

it is difficult to make analysis of news when we can’t trust the news.
