France Heads K, Closes Mosques, Bans Foreign Funding

France’s psychology is shifting:

France has shut down at least 20 mosques and now has banned foreign funding of the Islamic houses of worship as well.

At least 20 of the 120 Salafi mosques in the country have been shut down in France since December 2015.

But in the wake of a third radical Islamist terror attack, last month Prime Minister Manuel Valls called for a ban on foreign funding on Islamic mosques altogether. Nor would Valls say how long that ban would last.

This would have been unthinkable seven or eight years ago. Now they just do it. There is nothing you have seen in history, from pogroms, to vigilante mobs, to civil wars, to public executions, to world wars, to mass-scale racial/genetic/ethnic/religious cleansing, that cannot arise just as effortlessly.

Resource availability, and the threat associated with it, is the determinant of the possible.

What is amazing is that we are not in high K right now. Resources are only slightly restricted, and it is barely noticeable for most. Everybody is eating, and they are eating delicious food, at that, compared to what you eat when food is scarce. People are hopped up on dopamine from videogames, cellphones, internet surfing, movies, and all the other entertainments and pleasures available.

And yet, the K-shift has begun.

It almost makes me a little nervous that we have gone this K with this little stress. You have to wonder if a full on collapse might not turn everyone so K that the blood really runs in the streets, far beyond what is needed to simply restore common sense and expel savages.

A simple little pogrom here and there, to restore sanity and a hesitancy to intrude on the freedoms of others, is probably a good thing. The nation turning into a scene out of the Walking Dead, where there is no established civil order, and every day is a battle against death for everyone – not so much.

Given how triggerable the population has become, it may point to this K-shift being a doozy. Prepare accordingly.
