He and his stunned clients huddled inside his office as the violence flared, Kloska said.
“But it’s been weeks [since the refugee camp opened], and I have a different opinion now,” he continued. “I am not sure that we’re going to be able to do this, to help so many people from so many different countries.”
That was a long-dormant amygdala suddenly coming online, as he huddled under a desk and pondered his imminent demise. Let that happen often enough, and it will make the population become more K. Already you see this in the article, where “welcome” turned into “I’m not sure…,” and this was just one mini-riot. Let a few more riots go off, and “I’m not sure,” will turn into, “If I survive, I’m going to slaughter whoever the fuck dealt this shit!”
For this to not utterly destroy the careers of every European politician, one of two things needs to happen. Either every Muslim needs to immediately become an ultra-polite, gentle rabbit who is eager to please their German hosts, or the leaders need to do an immediate 180 and portray the immigrants as enemies and themselves as lone voices of reason seeking to expel every last one.
Since neither of those seems likely to happen, we now wait, until the Muslims reveal what they are, the populace turns K and in-groups, and every leader who supported the refugees sees themselves on the outside of that in-group. Being on the outside of an in-group during K-selection is not something these rabbit leaders are cut out for.

I don’t understand, how can germany be r-selected right now if their population growth is so low? Wouldn’t that be a K feature?
Only if there was no birth control or abortion. If you could tell a rabbit that by taking a pill, or wearing a condom they could have more sex, and would not have to spend so much time rearing pups, they would do it. Sex is good, working to rear pups is bad. Birth control and abortion feed both the drive to maximize sex, and the drive to minimize rearing investment. For that reason, as humans go r, kids become a burden and you see less of them, even as promiscuity rises. Once birth control and abortion hit the scene, r’s will have to evolve into the idiot single moms who have twenty kids a pop on welfare. That takes time, though I think it is beginning to happen, as our inner city welfare moms grow in number, and replace the careerist feminists in the democratic party voter base.
Makes sense, the question that raises in my mind is wouldn’t that forestall any kind of collapse a good amount of time? The US has been around since 1865 in its current form and intergenerational changes take time.

I think epigenetic effects adapting to stress are very powerful, and probably much more powerful than actual selection. Get exposed to stress, you activate stress-coping genes. As you burn them to mRNA it appears that your genetic machinery may change the small epigenetic molecules like methyl groups attached to the DNA, and the way the DNA packs in the chromosomes. The stressed hormone milieu that happens under stress may also affect epigenetic markers. The more stress you endure, the easier it gets to burn the stress-coping gene copies off in the future. When your kids pick up those genes from you, they carry those epigenetic markers, and the genes burn off similarly.
All of that said, it is only in the last 60-70 years welfare has really kicked in, and the welfare moms have emerged, turning out lots of kids, and taking in lots of money. Add in dopamine from technology, video games, smartphones, the internet, porn, sexual promiscuity, and so on and you amplify that anti-stress effect. That acts on the epigenetics, desensitizes to dopamine producing a real-time addict effect, and suddenly you have the weirdness today, as well as the rise of a radical liberalism where nothing is aberrant, borrowed money is limitless with no downside, and our nation cruising right into the ground.
I think due to this perfect dopamine storm and the unprecedented use of debt, we are going down this time – though the collapse will fix the epigenetics, maybe do a little selection, restore everyone’s dopamine sensitivity like going cold-turkey, and restore the balance for us to pick up and go on afterward.
Does K stand for”kill”?
It could, but it was actually derived from the variable “K” in equations that model population growth. K = the carrying capacity of an environment. Why they didn’t make it “C” I do not know.

I believe so. Smartphones are bright colors, entertainment, and social rewards – all dopamine eliciters. It is like Avatar. The movie was designed with colors, intricacies, and other aspects of the visuals which so intoxicated many viewers that they began seeing it compulsively. After several viewings, the world around them seemed dead, and they began to enter depressions.
