Lessons Of Apocalypse – Diversions And Deceptions

As a K-strategist, you will tend to deal honestly with people, and see conflict as occurring face to face. But you need to be hardened against deception and ambush:

A woman narrowly avoided a carjacking after stopping to help what she thought was a child in the middle of the road Sunday night. It turned out the child was actually a dummy.

The 33-year-old woman was driving home from work when she noticed what looked like a child sitting in the middle of the road at the intersection of West Southwinds Drive and Pagoda Court in the Paradise East subdivision, according to the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office.

As she stopped, two young men wearing dark hoodies pulled on the door handles of the woman’s locked vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office. The woman immediately drove away…

Notice the exploitation of the K-strategist urge to protect children. Criminals will know where the buttons are, and they will almost relish the opportunity to press them, because if they get over on a K-strategist, it is amygdala assuaging with respect to their own insecurities.

All of their lives they have been the inferior shitheads. But if you fall for their ploy then suddenly, in their mind, they are the smart ones and you are the loser who is stupid and incapable.

Practice now keeping your doors locked, and making sure every time something unusual happens, be it a child in the street, or just a guy asking you the time in a parking lot, you put your Spidey sense on high alert, and first give a look around to see if that unusual circumstance is the distraction that signals the onset of an attack. It is a simple and natural conditioning exercise, to make yourself link every instance of “unusual” with a threat response and a quick scan around.

It could save your life one day.

Tell others about r/K Theory, because things are not always as they seem.

This story reminds me of something they do in New Orleans, especially during Mardi Gras or JazzFest. Local criminals will steal real road signs so tourists will drive into the projects where they are then robbed and/or carjacked.
