When you take the runt in a litter, who has been tortured, and who has grown used to feeling anger and frustration with everyone around him, and then give him power, you will generally not get a moderate libertarian, happy to finally be free. You will get a despot who feels that now it is his turn to deal out the pain.
Gays, historically eliciting disgust in the population and feeling like runts, now want to punish anyone who doesn’t celebrate them. Bakers are being fined $135,000 and slapped with gag orders by the homonazis.
Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian finalized a preliminary ruling today ordering Aaron and Melissa Klein, the bakers who refused to make a cake for a same-sex wedding, to pay $135,000 in emotional damages to the couple they denied service.
“This case is not about a wedding cake or a marriage,” Avakian wrote. “It is about a business’s refusal to serve someone because of their sexual orientation. Under Oregon law, that is illegal.”
In the ruling, Avakian placed an effective gag order on the Kleins, ordering them to “cease and desist” from speaking publicly about not wanting to bake cakes for same-sex weddings based on their Christian beliefs.
“This effectively strips us of all our First Amendment rights,” the Kleins, owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, which has since closed, wrote on their Facebook page. “According to the state of Oregon we neither have freedom of religion or freedom of speech.”
Christians are beginning to be beaten.
Two street preachers were brutally beaten—punched and kicked—by a crowd at a gay pride festival in Seattle and the entire melee was captured on video.
The preachers were holding signs reading “Repent or Else” and “Jesus Saves From Sin.” The video shows a group of people initially screaming and threatening the men during Pridefest at the Seattle Space Needle.
Television station KOMO reported that some of the attackers belonged to a group called NOH8.
It was still dark outside when “Jonah” (not his real name) heard the pounding on his front door…
The pounding continued, and Jonah peered out the window to discover its source. To his horror, he saw uniformed officers, their guns drawn. “Police,” they yelled. “We have a warrant.” An officer shined a flashlight on a document Jonah couldn’t read…The officers sat him down, read him the entire search warrant, and ordered him not to tell anyone about the raid — not even school officials. He asked if he could call his parents. They said no. He asked if he could call a lawyer. They said no.
Then, they proceeded to turn his house “upside down.”
When law and order begins to break down, one established phase of the festivities is “score-settling.” You saw it in Iraq, you saw it in the Balkans, you see it during communist revolutions, and you see it today. This is the first phase of it, namely the creation of “scores” to be settled. Conservatives increasingly feel that government is losing legitimacy, as the concept of a unified government serving all fairly and equally disappears. From the IRS scandal, to these rulings against conservative businesses, to gays demanding beatings of them be treated differently by law enforcement as “hate crimes,” to prosecutors sending cops to harass conservatives, this is an inherently weak group trying to use governmental machinery as a cudgel, and creating anger and resentment in the process.
It look eerily like what you would have seen in Iraq, right before Saddam’s government went down. Sunnis, outnumbered and unpopular among the majority Shiites try to make one last stab at asserting their authority before the government collapses and the Shiites begin killing Sunnis en masse due to the built up anger. Weak groups (70 percent say the government should keep its hands off the Confederate flag), panicking at the thought of losing control when the government goes down, begin acting out in order to assuage their panic. If government collapses, such groups will have to fend for themselves with a majority who holds them in utter contempt and feels they owe them retribution.
Generally, seeing such a precursor to anarchy, as an economic collapse approaches, is never a good sign. More and more the US looks like a banana republic that could easily collapse into Balkan-esque anarchy. Never forget how cosmopolitan Bosnia was just a few years before the descent into anarchy.
Of course, in the mixed news category, I am not even certain it will get that far in the US. Once food and resources thin out during the collapse, anybody who is walking will become a target of some very violent and ruthless, criminally-minded people. This will be worse in the cities where the lack of gardens, livestock, and self-sufficiency is bad and criminal proliferation and organization is worse. It will be worse still for the fancy-boy liberals and gays who do these types of things, and who have gone to great lengths to see to it that they are totally unarmed and helpless in preparation for the coming unrest.
Sit by the river long enough, and the bodies of your enemies will float by. The key will be Conservatives vowing to never help any liberal survive the mess they have created, or fight the monsters they have previously supported. They are not our people, they are our enemies. And they will deserve everything they will get.
