A woman woke up to a mountain lion snatching her dog off of her bed at a Pescadero home early Monday morning, according to deputies…
The woman told deputies she and a child were sleeping in a bedroom with their 15-pound Portuguese Podengo at the foot of the bed.
They had left the bedroom’s French doors partially open to let the dog out…
She looked up at the French doors and saw a shadow of an animal enter the room.
The animal took the small dog from the bed and walked out, she told deputies.
Liberals love these big cats so much they banned all hunting of them. When one periodically eats a jogger, they hop on their high horse and declare it a sacrifice they are willing to make – for their principles.
Liberals prefer human predation. Back when I was a teenager, I actually wondered why no real rabbits ever evolved big fangs, big muscles, and an aggressive attitude capable of killing the hawks and foxes that preyed upon them. I figured such a rabbit would have enjoyed great advantage.
Yet here in our species we already have such aggressive, capable humans, and the r-strategists in our populations are trying to kill them off. If I lived in California I would consider it a sacred, God-given duty to eradicate mountain lions from every single area where their ranges contacted humans. I would not even feel bad about wiping the species out.
When I see people talk about humans eradicating some species or animal population in history, like wolves, I know who did that. That was people like me. I like animals, but if it is them or my own, I would cut through their populations like a buzzsaw, and never feel the slightest pang of guilt.
Even to his day, I have no idea why we don’t put bounties on sharks that loiter near beaches. It is not even like the Sharks have personalities. They are practically killer robots. When I see surfers sitting on boards, with the shadows of sharks beneath them, I feel an almost uncontrollable urge to kill those sharks to protect the humans. Give me a jet ski and some hand grenades already.
Yet I know if I expressed such a view in the company of liberals, they would go apoplectic. They would express some argument about diversity of species, or some consequence to reefs, but those are not arguments. The average liberal knows as much about ecology as they know about fighting. Those would be psychological justifications for the rabbitty urges to see their own people preyed upon by remorseless killing machines.
Which brings me back to the real rabbits I pondered as a kid. I can’t help but wonder if I had been that muscular, fanged rabbit who eradicated predators, whether the r-selected female rabbits would have refused to mate with me – and tried to get a predator to eat me. That way their r-selected genes would never face the danger of a nascent K-strategist bringing K-selection to the species by eradicating the predators who keep population levels down, per capita resource levels high, and the shortage of K-selection at bay.
As I look at leftist humans importing Muslim predators who will prey on their own, I wonder if that modern urge to import Islamists is in fact a modern evolution of some ancient urge that is inherent to the r-strategy – an urge that wants to see the courageous and capable among their own, who want to fight and protect others get killed.

The problem with Leftists is that they take every noble concept and twist it until you either choke on it or figure out that the little nerd is screwing with you and punch him in the face repeatedly until he gets the message.
Case in point: nature preserves. Clearly it is an obligation to preserve human life. It is also an obligation to preserve good for the posterity of that life. Hence, set aside areas where otherwise deadly animals can propagate. Which has already been done.
What does the Leftist do? He finds a cockroach that looks slightly different than the other cockroaches up until this point, probably because it’s been humping some artificial fertilizer, declares the bug to be a new species and then uses that as an excuse to take your house, your car, your wife and subject you to 20 years of prison putting together electronic components for IBM or whoever else is outsourcing slavery to the Federal government.

It’s ok AC, we’ve all had to shoot a few cougars down at some point. Jokes aside though all wild animal/islamist problems are best solved with firearms. As soon as the Mountain Lion entered the house it should have gotten a snout-full of double aught buck. Now there is a wild Mountain Lion on the loose that doesn’t fear entering human homes and has a taste for papillon.
I’m a bit of a conservationist when it comes to predators. If confronted with a hostile beast I will kill it if it is a threat to me (or die trying), but I think we need to preserve their existence, as they do serve a purpose in controlling wild prey populations. For one thing there are areas of the country where the deer are just out of control. We could fill the role of predator through hunting, but the way we go about it is totally dysgenic and half-assed. We always go for the strong, best specimens to decorate our walls rather than the weak stragglers that real predators pick off. We go hunting as a sport or hobby for limited seasons. Wolves whole lives revolve around hunting and they do it every day of the year.
Plus I highly doubt that most people who go jogging deep in the woods where predators roam are particularly smart in the first place. I’m fine with big cats running free, as long as they only eat dumb hippies.
The thing I immediately noticed is that despite the obvious glaring omissions this story has all the hallmarks of yet another oblivious and profoundly inept single female headed household consisting of a mother, child, and pet, with no mention of a husband or father. This woman was so stupid as to leave the patio doors open to spare her the tedium of regularly walking her dog. The thing that burns me up is that this dog, which is probably neglected in other ways still nobly sacrificed itself for the ungrateful cunt and her bastard. God bless you noble dead dog. You were a more loyal protector than the family deserved.
They had pictures of it on the news, a beautiful little guy. The woman has an “Oh my God, it could have been me!” air.
Hopefully the dog will come back to a loyal owner with brains.
Alternatively, next time it will grab the child to safety, quietly let the mountain cougar do it’s work, then go with child back to father.
