Now Some Demand $4.5 Trillion In Infrastructure Spending

This will be r-selection:

The price tag for redemption has grown steadily for 15 years while an expanding country has focused on building new infrastructure rather than maintaining existing systems that were nearing the end of their natural life.

Since 2001, the cost of repairing those systems has mushroomed from $1.3 trillion to the current figure, more than three times as high, according to an assessment released Thursday by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The report comes out every four years.

It gave the U.S. infrastructure an overall grade of D-plus, the same grade it received in 2013, “suggesting only incremental progress was made over the last four years.”

“President Trump is on to something when he calls for a national rebuilding,” ASCE President Norma Jean Mattei said in presenting the study. “But Congress and the American people have to pay for it.”

The worst thing for a nation is stagnation. Rather than trying to save the nation, failing, and having the US just putter along on a slow decline, I would advocate embracing the fail. Spend like crazy now, enjoy the popularity you would gain during the decline, and let it crash catastrophically when the time comes.

A hard apocalypse will reset K-psychologies, cull the dead wood, motivate the migrants to move out, and let the US begin the process or rebuilding from scratch. And until it hits, we can all have a blast.

Spread r/K Theory, because the Apocalypse is to be embraced

“A hard apocalypse will reset K-psychologies, cull the dead wood, motivate the migrants to move out, and let the US begin the process or rebuilding from scratch.”

And the USA’s external enemies? Better make sure those nukes are good to go and readily able to be re-targeted (and that feature heavily advertised). I very much doubt they’ll sit back to let your nation catch its breath.

True for the most part, but the population control abilities of the Chinese are worrisome. The Asians want Western heads mounted on their wall for some reason- probably an inferiority complex.

If they indeed want American heads mounted on their walls then that’s maybe because the Americans have mounted heads of Asians on their tanks as you can see on this page in a photo.

If you don’t like this page you can just google image search “Japanese skull tank”. It’s plastered all over the Internet and everyone but you has seen it.

And let someone else clean up the mess? Typical.
