Ted Cruz on the Attack

Donald Trump is making everyone more aggressive. Ted Cruz is on the attack:

Cruz has… argued that Iran would use a windfall from sanctions relief to finance terror abroad.

Both Obama and Romney have called Cruz’s remarks inappropriate.

Romney wrote on Twitter early Thursday that he also opposes the Iran deal, but said Cruz’s comments were “way over the line on the Obama terrorism charge. Hurts the cause.”

Cruz, 2016 presidential candidate, fired back at Romney in a Thursday radio interview with KFYO’s Chad Hasty.

“So Mitt Romney’s tweet today said, ‘Gosh, this rhetoric is not helpful,'” Cruz said. “John Adams famously said, ‘Facts are stubborn things.’ Describing the actual facts is not using rhetoric; it is called speaking the truth…”

“Part of the reason that Mitt Romney got clobbered by Barack Obama is because we all remember that third debate where Barack Obama turned to Mitt and said, ‘I said the Benghazi attack was terrorism and no one is more upset by Benghazi than I am.’ And Mitt, I guess listening to his own advice, said, ‘Well gosh, I don’t want to use any rhetoric. So OK, never mind. I’ll just kind of rearrange the pencil on the podium here,'” Cruz said…

Diminution of stature, and humiliation over failure. This won’t just amygdala hijack the target – the audience will see the target in a different light as well. Here, unaffiliated observers will see Romney as a tool, solely based off the fact that Cruz doesn’t show him any respect, and Romney the rabbit just wanders off, chastened. As a result, they will downgrade the importance of Romney’s opinion, and this will only benefit Cruz in the larger debate. The crazy thing is, it wins the debate with a large portion of the populace, without using any logic or reason.

“We need to stand up and speak the truth with a smile,” he said. “The truth has power and every time we have Republicans who shy away — who don’t want to engage, who don’t want to speak the truth — we lose…”

“Those billions of dollars in American control will be used by jihadists to murder Americans, to murder Israelis, to murder Europeans. Those are the facts,” he said. “The unavoidable consequence of those facts is that if this deal goes through, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton, and John Kerry, will be leading global financiers of radical Islamic terrorism on the face of the earth.”

Cruz added: “When you send billions of dollars to jihadists trying to kill Americans, you bear responsibility for the murder that they carry out with the money you have given them.”

Ted is consistently conservative, but he has sought a more intellectual, logical path in debate. In truth, liberals only respond (and capitulate) in the face of emotionally brutal, withering and humiliating personal attacks. This works even better when the RINO opposition responds to the humiliation with waffling, and pansy liberal-type responses. Donald Trump uses diminution of stature based off his status as a billionaire, and aggressive criticism of the intellects and abilities of others. His opposition whines and cries, to which he responds by further humiliating them.

Ted should use patriotism, intellect, authority of office, and a cultured personae of a practical “real-talker”, or truth-teller, who can get things done, as opposed to the lying, sniveling, fanciful, hippy-dippy idiots who have sunk our nation into the present morass. Every interaction should highlight this dichotomy, in demeaning terms, and in-group him with the audience as a winner, while out-grouping the target as a loser. Liberals will whine about his tone, complain about the effect on the debate, and remain humiliated.

It is nearly impossible to believe how different liberals (and much of the regular populace), think and assess data. I would never have believed an emotional attack, devoid of logic and reason could have a greater effect than a clear, logically reasoned argument. But it works with a lot of the low-information voters.

Trump is now opening everyone’s eyes. As he continues to demonstrate the success unctuousness yields in the public square, we can expect the tone of our debate to change. As it does, easily triggered liberals will begin to become more acclimated to the aggression, and the populace will begin to turn rightward.

For this alone, we will owe him a great debt of gratitude.

Yeah, Ted’s on the attack!

For Israel.

It’s funny to watch these cucks stepping on each other to score more brownie points with their Jewish sponsors. Alas, fewer and fewer Stupid Party voters are buying it.

Maybe next year, Ted. Rah! Rah!
