The German establishment moves on the alt-right:
Berlin Police completed a large scale raid on internet users Wednesday. The officers ransacked ten separate apartments in the German capital in the suburbs of Spandau, Tempelhof, Marzahn, Hellersdorf and Pankow.
The force confiscated mobile phones, narcotics and weapons. Nine suspects were arrested, aged 22-58, and are accused of posting messages critical of migrants, migrant helpers and some anti-semitic slogans on social networks like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter, reports Berliner Morgenpost…
In some of the homes searched police were forced to admit they hadn’t found anything at all, but Redlich justified the raids saying they were maybe, “people who just once expressed their hate-opinion.”
One of the raids in particular was prompted by a Facebook comment to an article regarding an Afghani migrant who was shot dead at the Bulgarian border. The incident took place in October and according to Bulgarian officials it was an accident as a bullet was meant to be a warning shot but ricochet and hit him.
The post responded to the article saying that it was unfortunate too few migrants met with a similar fate, as it might scare the rest of them from coming.
A German comedian whose satirical poem about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has unleashed a bitter row about freedom of speech has decided to suspend his own TV show, he announced on his Facebook page on Saturday.
Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday authorised criminal proceedings sought by Turkey against the popular comic Jan Boehmermann who could be convicted under the rarely-enforced section 103 of the criminal code — insulting organs or representatives of foreign states.
Merkel’s decision has appalled rights bodies such as Human Rights Watch which on Saturday called on the German authorities to defend freedom of speech “even if the contents of the speech are offensive to some”.
This is a period of high amygdala for the establishment and the left. Nothing is as motivating to the leftist or establishment rabbits as amygdala stimulation, and the coming period promises to be as stimulating as any in history. As such, anything is possible in the coming decades.
The atrophy of amygdalae as society has increasingly rabbitized has only made the neuroses of the left more easily and more violently triggerable. Our rabbits are if anything, likely less civilized now than they have ever been in the past. Based on our rabbits’ present amygdala-conditioning, the worst horrors we have seen in history will ultimately be on the table as the collapse goes down.
Right now the alt-right is a threat to the establishment and as such, the establishment will move to deal with it to whatever extent they feel they can. Where law and circumstance allow they will move directly, as they did here. Where law and circumstance doesn’t allow such a direct move, expect other forms of movement against it.
Know that by partaking of the alt-right online, you may become a target of the government, and proactively police your own life for tools the government might use against you. If you have a business, make sure you have no regulatory vulnerabilities. If you have vices, make sure they are legal, and you don’t care if they are exposed publicly. Don’t wait until you see government, because by then it will be too late. Act right now as if you are being watched.
If you have any sort of audience – if you have any ability to say, write, or tweet something, and have it be spread by your readers, you need to take the threat seriously. Don’t freak out, but make sure that right now you wouldn’t care if every moment of your life was scrutinized.
Bear in mind, Trump could, in one motion, take tens of trillions of dollars out of the hands of the establishment over the next eight years. However minor, that will partly be due to the alt-right’s promotion of him, and their inability to control it. Poor people with very limited tools at their disposal kill for a few hundred dollars every day. Imagine what billionaires with private security companies and private investigation firms would do to protect trillions of dollars.
Keep your nose clean, and understand the threat you could present to some very powerful people.
