A South Florida university awarded an honorary degree to Trayvon Martin, Saturday.
Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, took the stage at Florida Memorial University’s commencement in Miami Gardens to receive a posthumous bachelor’s degree in aeronautical science on their son’s behalf.
Fulton and Martin said the ceremony was bittersweet, and now they’re passing on an inspirational message to Trayvon’s fellow graduates.
“To the graduates, I tell you, there is no limit to what you can do,” said Fulton. “Just stay focused and put your mind to it, and you can do it.”
No shit. You can be a dead mental retard, and still become a degreed rocket scientist. Up next : A PhD/MD in neurosurgery for Michael Brown. Imagine how much that brain surgeon would have accomplished if those evil Police hadn’t killed him the prime of his intellectual ascendance.
This is basically the leftist drive to pre-emptively appease the violent outsiders. If Trayvon had been a white geeky captain of his High School’s chess club, this would never have happened. It would have been a horrible accident, but nobody would have cared about him.
As amygdalae deteriorate, everything from morals to an actual grasp of reality deteriorate along with them. The interesting thing is how the leftists do not just become stupid. They still discriminate between good and evil.

My best guess is that awarding the family a post-humus diploma won out when the board made a cost/benefit analysis for prospects in currying positive favor with the South Florida black community and mainstream media. Given that higher education enrollments are declining all over the country, especially at proudly liberal institutions, they likely also thought this might earn them a few more leftist and/or minority enrollment applicants. It also doesn’t help that the parents formed a foundation and those tend to need as much publicity as they can get if the founders aren’t independently wealthy.
I do however see the whole incident as rabbit/black on rabbit/mestizo violence, which isn’t all that rare. The Martin father recognized his youngest son from his failed marriage displaying rabbit traits. With one son safely away attending college, he angled to remove the other from the rabbit ex-wife/mothers care. Simultaneously, the rabbit mestizo followed the increase of home robberies by blacks in his gated community and he responded to conclude all blacks unfamiliar to him at that point as being a threat. Stand your ground law or not, given his prior history of domestic assault, his engagement of Trayvon Martin suggests an easily irritated amygdala as I understand it. The loss of two rabbits are hardly anything to be overly concerned about.
Zim isn’t dead though. While the Zim-zam was rabbity he may have been moving towards K. Most people in the r/K middle will move towards K as their communities enrich. That’s why there will be many more Zimmerman/Martin type interactions. Imagine a few months into a recession in a diverse area- formerly r people are going K, they are new to it- so they’re very perturbed- but they are racially different- they would be ready to fight (and kill) each other over anything. This is what pulls communities into promptly lethal racial conflict- just like the former Yugoslavia.
I’m sure, had he not been gunned down by evil white man George Zimmerman, he would’ve been the next Orville Wright.
