Just days after calling out CNN fake news during his first press conference of 2017, Esquire reports that according to three senior officials on the transition team, the incoming Trump administration is “seriously considering” a plan to evict the press corps from the White House.
If the plan goes through, one of the officials said, the media will be removed from the cozy confines of the White House press room, where it has worked for several decades. Members of the press will be relocated to the White House Conference Center—near Lafayette Square—or to a space in the Old Executive Office Building, next door to the White House.
Trump is using these hits to unbalance the media. Each one shocks the media, makes them feel besieged, and triggers a drive to act. This can prove damaging if it drives them to act on an urge which they would otherwise realize is potentially dangerous and refrain from. He is literally unbalancing the very part of his enemy’s brains that is most fundamental to decision making.
Trump is using high level cognitive science on a press corps that can barely spell cognitive. It is going to be an amazing four years.

You’re missing another aspect of it. He wants to move them out of the White House so that he can bring in more reporters, including those from right-wing outlets, bloggers, and talk radio hosts. This not only moves them from their cozy room, but places them next to Breitbart reporters, John Nolte, Mike Cernovich, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity.
He’s doing to the press what the elites are doing to whites by sticking them next to dissimilar people. It will breed confrontation, strengthen K amygdalas that can endure or seek confrontation, and trigger r amygdalas who cannot face the confrontation. It’s way better than disbanding the press corps altogether.

Could be a little of both. But when your amygdala is amped, you may do stuff you wouldn’t otherwise do, like in this case running a story on a dossier that is so clearly bullshit that will spatter back on you.

I have not. But it wouldn’t surprise me if Trump cooked up some fake video and sucked them in just to destroy them.

There will be very few “blockbusters” the press can unleash from this point forward that won’t look like blind partisanship. They really did blow their credibility.

It might relate to r-strategists subconsciously defacing a memorial to K’s, but it might also be fucked up mentally ill people who barely know where they are at any moment. It is tough to say, but obviously the people doing it are lacking in any sense of loyalty to K’s.
