Venezuela as a Model for the Apocalypse

Venezuela should give some idea of what the apocalypse will look like:

One person was killed and dozens were detained following looting of supermarkets in Venezuela’s southeastern city of Ciudad Guayana, the state governor said on Friday, amid the ongoing food shortages in the recession-hit OPEC nation.

Shoppers seeking scarce consumer staples including milk, rice and flour broke into a supermarket warehouse on Friday morning…

“A group of armed motorcyclists arrived and said they were going to loot certain establishments,” he told Venezuelan television station Globovision. “I’m sure it wasn’t spontaneous…”

All for flour and rice, in a state where arms are strictly controlled. Ain’t socialism grand?

Now imagine what the local supermarkets in the inner cities of the US will look like, if the EBT cards don’t get loaded. My guess – the food trucks never even make it to the supermarkets. Now imagine what red-blooded patriots will do, if their families will starve without food.

We have never seen K-selection, and thus can only imagine glimmers of what is to come – terrifying glimmers.

Apocalypse cometh™

We (patriots) will be smart enough to bring pickups and tractor trailers to the looting instead of doing it on motorcycles.

lol food wont the only shortage. it is possible the collapse will start with fuel refineries being shut down or disabled.

it is unlikely looting will gain anyone any significant time. It would be better to leave areas where you are likely to have food storage ware houses since that means you are in a heavily populated area.

it’s time to learn self sufficiency.
