A group masquerading as conservative but backed by left-wing foundations including billionaire George Soros’s Foundation to Promote Open Society (FPOS) has launched an online advertising campaign in defense of bringing Syrian refugees to the United States.
The banner ads bear tag lines like, “Support freedom, not fear,” and, “America is better when we welcome refugees.” They lead to a microsite located at Americaisbetter.org with Old Glory-clothed, American flag-waving young people, with a light-skinned blonde leading the way for others who appear to be ethnic minorities partially or fully obscured behind her.
The site in turn quotes conservative icon former president Ronald Reagan, saying, “America is better when we embrace President Reagan’s ‘shining city … teeming with people of all kinds, living in harmony and peace.’”
This is a rabbit competitive strategy, which some are not as good at hiding:
Jennifer Harvey, a Professor of Religion at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, is calling on “white Christians” to repent for their forefathers’ sins and their current privilege by paying reparations.
Speaking at Drew Theological School, Dr. Harvey said that calling all races “equal” is “a morally incoherent paradigm” that cannot solve the racial injustices that are in the United States. Instead, white Christians need to “repent” by paying reparations to African Americans.
“Reconciliation rests on the assumption that all of our differences can be similarly celebrated and embraced,” she explained. “I can come to better love and appreciate your blackness, your native-ness, your Latino-ness, and you need to come to better love my whiteness?
“It’s a morally incoherent paradigm. It doesn’t work.”
Racial identities in the United States are not equal and treating people equally will not fix the US’s problems, she continues: “Even when we add attention to white privilege- which we must- even when we talk about justice needing to be present for reconciliation to happen- which of course we should- at its core, the reconciliation paradigm presumes a kind of moral, spiritual, cultural parallel in our racial identities, and my friends, it’s just not so. And we’ve got to stop pretending it’s so, or we’ll keep having these same conversations over and over.”
Instead, Dr. Harvey suggests that white Christians need to repent by paying African Americans reparations for their ill-gotten money.
White Christians have profited from “white supremacy” in the United States and black people still face discrimination similar to that of the 1960s and before, according to Harvey. Therefore, the “reparations paradigm” is the logical next step.
Rabbits can’t force equality – they are too weak and impotent. So they try to create a socially-pressuring argument that others who succeed and have more must give it up to those who do not. Whether it is the leftist arguing to import poor foreigners and give them welfare, or a racial activist seeking to make whatever race has money give it to whoever does not, it is the same strategy – using a sort of proxy-competition to degrade the successful without initiating open conflict and competition with them. Where they can’t find opposition, they try to simply make the successful abandon attempts to attain the maximal greatness they would otherwise easily attain, by attempting to make their very greatness socially shameful:
The University of Vermont held a three-day retreat so students who “self-identify as white” could confront their own “white privilege.”
“Examining White Privilege: A Retreat for Undergraduate Students Who Self-Identify as White” took place last weekend, November 13-15, and was “specifically for white students…”
According to the school’s website, the University of Vermont offered the retreat at no cost to its privileged white students, covering all expenses including meals…
The University of Vermont does host a retreat for “women of color” as well but it focuses on building leadership rather than confronting one’s own privileges. Aside from the women of color retreat, the university does not appear to offer similar race-specific retreats.
This serves two purposes, both amygdala assuaging. First it socially demeans the success of anyone who excels beyond the rabbit’s level of accomplishment. Second, it creates an amygdala perception within the rabbit that those who have ignored the rabbit orthodoxy and blatantly succeeded are not successful. Rather, they have done something that degrades their social status, and thus their success isn’t success, but failure. That is a far easier idea for rabbit amygdalae to contemplate than the idea that they are simply losers compared to the successful.
Among the Frailest Generation, such cognitive hacks are vital to keep the brain from melting down due to amygdala triggers.

Legislated empathy for rabbits.
Reading the comments on the site carrying the story suggests that Caucasians have largely reached the end of their tolerance for this. I surely have.
I guess I started out with nothing but my White Privilege, which is nothing more than a genetic predisposition for high intelligence and low time preference. These let me surmount the handicap of affirmative action & redistributive taxation so that now I’m comfortably Middle Class. Those who suggest I should be robbed even more are those I wish to eject from my society.

Rabbits are in the moment – feeling emotions about the moment far more than we do, and not feeling emotions about how present circumstances map out forward.
There is a test they give little kids. They give the kid five jelly beans, placing them on a plate in front of the kid. Then they tell the kid if he doesn’t eat them in the next five minutes, he will get fifteen jellybeans. The kids with rabbit tendencies are overwhelmed with an emotional need to eat the jellybeans immediately. Others will feel less immediate emotional need to eat them, and they will operate more on the knowledge ten more jellybeans will show up if they just wait.
You see it in immigration. Immigration has two sets of emotions. One is the sadness for people who want to come here – it is immediate, and in the moment. The other emotions are called up by the thought of what the future consequences are, namely terrorism, fewer jobs, etc. They feel the first emotions, and those overwhelm any hint of the second. We feel the second, and it overwhelms the first.
This goes to the amygdala, which in wolves will develop to map out future consequences, and live for the future. In rabbits, ease and free resources means they never experience consequence, and never experiencing consequence means that their amygdala never develops to link bad outcomes later with their harbingers now. It is a real world, scientific mechanism behind the idea of ants who store grain for the winter vs the grasshoppers who live in the moment and die.
K, thanks. I’ve often noticed many rabbits are the “artist/poet/philosopher” types who seem to live I their own little world, oblivious to reality. But something I’ve been wondering about Europe’s situation is its vast collections of priceless art scattered throughout the continent.
