Populist billionaire Andrej Babis was appointed prime minister of the Czech Republic Wednesday, and he immediately took aim at the European Union and illegal immigration…
“Our position on migration is clear,” Babis said, according to The Guardian. “Our country should be more active and propose to the member states and the European commission a solution to illegal migration … And that solution is a fight against human traffickers.”
It is such an exciting time, to see r/K happening right in front of us. Resource restriction, the end of the bubbles, all the insanity the bubbles created, and now the return of sanity.
And firmly in the center of the mix is our own President, who is, by his very existence, is pushing Overton Windows rightward all over the globe.
The left is the ideology of lies, but lies only thrive in the absence of truth. When America elects a President that cares more for his own people than strangers, that is an open assertion of truth. On seeing that, it is only natural other nations should begin to ask, why is it so wrong for a leader to care for their own people first and foremost, before outsiders? Just by existing, Donald Trump changes all the debates.
Still, the Czechs appear to have their own swamp problem, and it works the same way:
Babis… is also facing charges of defrauding the EU in 2007, and police have asked the parliament to lift his immunity.
Undoubtedly like the Clintons, I will bet Czech leftists have been truly corrupt, and been totally insulated form any consequence. Suddenly a nationalist comes in, and the law enforcement apparatus goes into high gear to indict him on anything they can conjure up.
All of this is a script which I will bet looks remarkably similar cycle after cycle. But instead of learning it the boring way from a history book, we are smack dab in the middle of it, seeing it first hand as we realize the stakes.
