President Trump’s vision of soldiers marching and tanks rolling down the boulevards of Washington is moving closer to reality in the Pentagon and White House, where officials say they have begun to plan a grand military parade later this year showcasing the might of America’s armed forces.
Trump has long mused publicly and privately about wanting such a parade, but a Jan. 18 meeting between Trump and top generals in the Pentagon’s tank — a room reserved for top-secret discussions — marked a tipping point, according to two officials briefed on the planning.
Surrounded by the military’s highest-ranking officials, including Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., Trump’s seemingly abstract desire for a parade was suddenly heard as a presidential directive, the officials said.
I like it. We need more public celebration of the Warrior Class. What would be great would be to have Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, and EMS march in full uniform, carrying flags right behind the military, or to give them their own day of patriotic celebration.
It has already been shown that simply display of a flag drives adoption of a conservative attitude. Imagine a whole parade of flags, as well as Military, Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue units from across the nation.
I hope they include a group of the guards from the Tomb of the Unknown to commemorate those POW’s and MIA who have made the ultimate sacrifice too. In addition to being a worthy commemoration of service, the mortal salience stimulus would be another measure reminding the nation of the K-strategy’s importance, and furthering the advance of conservatism.
Nothing would drive the left crazier.

It is possible, but it isn’t necessary, I’d think.
Here is my take on Trump. They told a story about him during the election. Some group of businessmen went in to pitch him on a deal. They were all Harvard MBA’s, and the deal was a big thing for their company so they spent like two weeks preparing meticulously. Trump walks in with his team, and in minutes tears their proposal apart all by himself, down to the smallest detail. He quotes stats and stock prices which are literally from a few minutes back, just before he entered the room. The Harvard MBA with years running a company said he felt like he was a Freshman in college who knew nothing being critiqued by a professor, as Trump gave them lesson after lesson on business principles, and how each aspect of their deal would work in real life.
So Trump is not flying by the seat of his pants, and winning by luck. He is an obsessive compulsive, detail oriented, omniscience, all by himself.
Now r/K is pretty big in the online right. Traffic here climbs continuously, and I’d estimate this has been put in front of probably several million people at least, of whom I would guess at least three quarters accept it outright with no further selling, and somewhere between 10 and 50,000 people, maybe more, are now actively spreading it. So in my view it is impossible Trump hadn’t heard of it, given his voluminous appetite for every detail on fields he operates in.
It is very cool to think that r/K was important enough to probably occupy a neuron or two in the head of possibly the greatest and most affecting President this nation will ever see.
But on the parades, I suspect that Trump is a full blown genius in his own right, and my guess is he had probably developed r/K in all but name in his mind. Even without r/K, he would have known what people think, what they should think, and how to guide them to it, almost on instinct. He probably even viewed people, maybe subconsciously, as wolves and rabbits.
So the parade might be r/K, but to be honest, I would have to say it is also possible it is just his innate understanding, which is pretty incredible all on its own.
