President Rodrigo Duterte increased the bounty he offered for killing communist rebels from the original P20,000 to P25,000, saying it would be “cheaper” than waging a counterinsurgency campaign.
Speaking Tuesday at the oath-taking of newly appointed officials in Malacañang, Duterte also reiterated that he has no intention of ending his controversial war on drugs, which has been marked by thousands of deaths he stands accused of instigating, and for which the International Criminal Court has announced it is opening a preliminary examination into the possibility of his committing a crime against humanity.
Duterte told the new officials he reckoned it would cost billions over at least four years to wage a campaign against the communists.
“Then I made a counteroffer,” he said. “If you’re a CAFGU (Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit) or anybody here, you kill one NPA (New People’s Army member) and I will pay you P25,000. Kwenta-kwenta ko, mas makamura ako. “Bilhin ko na lang itong mga yawa na ito. (I calculated it, I would be saving money. I might as well buy these devils).”..
On the war against drugs, Duterte reiterated his resolve to “face the ICC” and his wish to be put before a firing squad if found guilty of crimes against humanity so he could emulate national hero Jose Rizal.
“Don’t worry about me, I can face the ICC,” he said. “If they want to indict me, fine!”
That’s almost $500 dollars a commie.
If money is a concern, he should make it a tourist thing, like an African Safari. Then he would be getting paid for the commies being killed.
How many of us would pay good cash to travel to a beautiful tropical island paradise filled with pretty Filipino girls, beautiful beaches, high-end resorts, and you could go on commie killing hunting trips during the day. Personally I have no urge to kill elephants, antelopes, or rhinos, but if its commies we’re talking about, line them up against the wall and give me the M240 and a cigar. Or let me give them the push out of the helicopter. Your choice, I’ll pay either way.

Duterte is a good example of how amygdalae work when things turn K though. Notice how his amygdala prioritizes the real problems of his people over the petty social bullshit the rabbits keep trying to foist upon him. Put enough on someone’s amygdala, and they will gradually ignore all of the social shit rabbits require to keep everyone in line, and once they do, the rabbits will have bit off far more than they can chew.
As I look out on the migrant crisis in Europe, it is completely clear that a psychology like that is exactly what is coming to Europe, and pretty soon.
First the commies, and then the cucks.
So in effect he is using the Free Market to destroy Communism.

I see a lot of parallels with r/K theory. I.e. the r-drive is located in the right side of the brain and as such unreachable for arguments. But it can be reached through triggering and slowly modelled differently, more K.
A ‘grand theory’ of r/K & the divided brain would be nice 😉

If I understand the theory correctly, r is amygdala atrophy, and nothing but amygdala stimuli has the chance to develop said amygdala, so, yep, having the environment being threatening seems to be the only way to stimulate redeemable r-selected folks amygdala out of its atrophied state.
Interesting how K-selected folks seem to only want to live their life without interference while r-selected rabbits are always coming at the K-selected folk to exploit them and/or try to get them culled during times of abundance, until K-selected are “allowed” by the environment (K-mentallity shift, due to scarcity or a violently threatening environment) to reciprocate the “friendliness” back at them. Then they flee or their Stockholm Syndrome takes hold and they shapeshift into K-selection supporters if they can’t flee and the helicopter rides seem unavoidable.
I am thinking it would depend on the individual and how far gone into rabbitry he is. Humans are very adaptable, which is why we have r and K strategists among us in the first place. Status quo for first worlders is r, so a good hard dose of countervailing reality is bound to be too much of a shock for some (similar to how Q says they can’t reveal the whole truth to the public at once). But some can be led K-ward. The smarter ones may be able to be convinced intellectually of K values even if they can’t personally uphold all of them (example: Milo?)
