I lived in Russia for a while. Victory Day is still the biggest national holiday and they celebrate with parades and communist era hats and pins for the kids. The women there still talk about the death toll among the men as if it is responsible for dating woes and a perceived gender imbalance today (as if the intervening generations weren’t born 50/50 male to female). And there was no hesitation or humor when they told me that “the USSR won WWII, America helped a little.” I can’t even imagine how enraging the image of German tanks headed their way is- so much so that it looks like a move by NATO to rally the Russia people to favor Putin. It’s either an own-goal or a devious ploy to get more Russians behind the war and therefore killed.

They are like a Secret Society, and due to specific circumstances, I think there is a decent chance that in a lot of those cases, they may end up married, and the surveillance person will never tell their spouse. There are cases where they spend a lifetime together, and the one spouse has a completely different knowledge, understanding, and is plying their spouse for their entire life. Another type of chance meeting that is almost certainly a trap of some sort is running into someone you already know hundreds or even thousands of miles away. I used to dismiss the few times this happened to me as nothing special because it was always in touristy places. However, I’ve lived in/near the same small city for many years now, and such chance meetings have been very, very rare for me here in spite of me often walking through some of the most crowded places at different times every week. Subtle intimidation, a multiday evaluation when you’re staying at the same resort, a honeypot op, take your pick.

The marines never liked the M1. It was too heavy to amphibious land in anything but ideal conditions (and it leaks). It was too heavy to deliver by helicopter. It was too heavy to airlift with anything but a C5 Galaxy. It’s too fuel hungry to keep supplied over long logistics tails. And finally, for the marines (every marine a rifleman) it’s totally tuned to the tank destroyer role and is inferior for infantry support.
That’s why the marines used LAV-25s and LAV-ATs in Desert Storm. (looking into it, it turns out that they used some M-60s in OSD as well. Didn’t know that, but it says a lot about how much they hated the M1.) The LAV is light, fast, amphibious, reliable, air deliverable/droppable, helicopter deliverable, and easily suppliable with diesel and 25mm ammo. Most importantly, the AT versions are the tank destroyers, and the standard version is actually built for infantry support. 25mm APDS will cure what ails you, unless what ails you is an MBT, and that’s what TOW missiles are for.

Very interesting and attention getting but reading this whole link above…gives me great, very great, pause on believing that he is honest. Goes into almost stratospheric, unending, over the top criticism, of Nazis or Germans while totally and completely leaving out Jewish behavior. Totally ignoring it and then chastising anyone who even mentions it as if Jews are some golden, blameless species. Unending Holohoax exaltations.
People who do this are frequently Jews in an obsessive mode who write elaborate complicated missives to influence, but in the process use a great deal of deception. Often to extraordinary lengths. Moldbug is a perfect example. Miles Mathis, a very good example. metallicman is very much the same. Tex Arcane is another. The whole entire western media complex is another example.
It’s sometimes very difficult to see this as in the statement, “hard to see the forest for the trees”, they fill the damn forest up with so many of one particular type of tree that you would be amazed that there are any others kinds of trees but the few species they constantly cultivate over vast reaches of territory. You forget there are any other type of trees at all, as they dutifully chop down any of them not to their liking with such vigor.

It deals with the government’s connection to the “hippie” movement of the 60’s. Being a musician who grew up in the SF Bay Area during the 60’s I found interesting the strange connections between the various musicians and how many of them had parents in the military, Jim Morrison of the Doors being just one example.
It’s a long read of 22 chapters but well worth the time.

I read about Laurel Canyon and the links between the counter culture and US military intelligence a while ago. It is definitely worth pursuing for those unaware of these developments.
