News Briefs – 07/11/2020

Here are some news stories that might be of interest. For unknown reasons, in most browsers the tweets only display right if you click to the post’s individual page instead of viewing it on the main page of the blog, so click the title above if you are on the main page of the blog. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of the Fake News, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages, especially about President Trump.

New Steele evidence strengthens Durham prosecution as frustration over inaction grows. Nothing we didn’t know, like the FBI knowing from the beginning that the dossier was a Hillary Clinton Campaign document. It reveals Steel wrote down that he had told them from the outset, so there is a written record of that and State Department involvement. And apparently Steele kept copious notes, which he turned over, raising the prospect he might have been a double agent gathering evidence, rather than the most incompetent boob ever.

Trump says he will be signing a bill without congressional approval, but rather by executive order, which will give all the DACA a path to citizenship. It is pretty obvious, that even by phrasing it as he is passing “a bill” and signing it himself without congress, he is playing some sort of game to force the Supreme Court to reverse course and rule that unlike in the DACA ruling, Presidents can’t sign bills they create themselves by executive order. Either they will reverse this for him and take out DACA, or they will crown him all powerful and let him create, and pass bills all by himself by Executive order. And if they reverse it, it may force them to reverse other Obama EOs, as well as reorganize the separation of powers. Trump’s entire political brand is based around screwing the left at every opportunity. He is a smart guy, and loyal, and would never stab his base in the back like that. Nor would he flood our nation with Democrat voters guaranteed to vote against Don Jr. Plus, we have seen this movie like fifty times now, and the ending is always the same – the left gets screwed. My only concern is, Conservatives have been trained, for decades, to see a “Republican” President who talks a good game before betraying them utterly. This undoubtedly will trigger a lot of those old amygdala pathways, and might impact the force and unity of his support in some sectors which are not watching too closely, if it is not resolved properly before the election. If the fraud on the left is bad enough, it could be important, but Trump always knows what he is doing, so I’d assume it will work out.

Sports Illustrated is featuring a “trans” model in its swimsuit issue. I always assumed the Roman decline and associated degeneracy was organic, based off a vague assumption that even though it was ridiculous, if anything went on long enough, it could go essentially infinitely far. And yet, men marrying their horses? It had that Cabal-esque flair of being just a little too extreme. Now fast forward to here today, and you can see how this tranny thing happened too fast. Society is not this degenerate yet. If Sports Illustrated had subscribers (it may not – I’ve never known anyone to subscribe to it and it seems everything today is fake), but if it had subscribers – they would not want a tranny model in a bikini. That would be a horrible business decision. It is just one more indicator – this is being foisted by a hidden power whose hand is being forced by some fear of time running out. And if we are seeing this all over again in this empire, I think it possible, if not likely it may be the same actor following a millenias-old script

> If Sports Illustrated had subscribers (it may not

I’ve always considered it to be a “waiting room magazine”. Even then, most of them were pristine, no sign anyone had ever flipped through one.

I did notice that whenever there was some kind of “bundle” offer of related magazine subscriptions, Sports Illustrated was always included, no matter what the theme of the bundle was. Certainly with the car and motorcycle magazines I used to subscribe to, anyway. Sort of like the cable TV bundles that always include sports, celebrity talk shows, and Spanish-language channels I have no use for.

So, yeah, it’s quite possible Sports Illustrated’s subscribers, if any, are almost entirely institutional.

Back when I used to check out the magazine rack at the grocery store, at least a quarter of the entire selection, and usually arranged on the front row so the covers were visible, “body builder” and “fitness” magazines always had the prime display positions. There was really a market for twenty different body builder magazines? It looked like gay porn to me.

“”Trump says he will be signing a bill without congressional approval, but rather by executive order, which will give all the DACA a path to citizenship.”””

This got me triggered. I’m mad as hell. I see your reasons, AC. But this is too close to comfort.

Why now—right before the election? He is Pandering to the Hispanic vote.

I’m 60 years old. I saw Reagan give amnesty—now California has been a one party state! Republicans have no chance. I’ve seen betrayal, after betrayal, after betrayal. When it is isn’t “”
conservative””” Supreme Court Justices, then it is Republican Senators like Lindsay Graham and their amnesty bills, or its Republican Presidents. We are constantly every year being stabbed in the back.

Conjoin this with Trump’s Hispanic Prosperity plan. And Hispanic prosperity plan means another white put out. We have some 14 ALL Black colleges! Do we have a SINGLE All White college? NO.

Who panders to us people who built this country???? NO ONE. I’m sick of it.

As Jesus said, “you can’t serve two masters”. You can’t serve minorities and the majority at the same time. I’ve witnessed this for some 45 years of cognizant history.

There is a good book I read a long time ago, “The Dispossession of the Majority”. We are being dispossessed of our country. And NO ONE fights for us or our concerns.

DEFUND the colleges and universities, NOW!

Have any commenters here worked in a retail store that sold magazines?

You’d think they would have seen many unsold magazines. What happens to them, are they trashed or sold back to the vendor?

I had a customer who subscribed once, but he is the only one I know of but all libraries I have been to seem to subscribe.

I think they and others had a few real customers but I imagine that they will lose them all now.

re: Parler soars as conservatives flock to new social network,

I just don’t get it. InRangeTV set up on Bitchute/Full30/etc. The White House setup on Bitchute. Do any of these people on Parler even know what Bitchute is? Karl is always remarking that they are on other platforms than Youtube, and yet they can’t get anybody to go to them. UnauthorizedTV sets up, complete with their own private social app SocialGalactic, and nobody bothers.

But all of a sudden a couple of the popular kids jump to a new gatekeeped service and everybody jumps with them. Hoe long has Gab been up? Minds.com?

This is for everyone that still thinks that robots stole all the jobs.

“We have never laid a person off because of a robot. We’ve just repurposed them. In a lot of times, what the robots are doing is the carpal tunnel type repetitive jobs that a lot of people don’t want to do.”

Robots do take jobs, even when they don’t do it directly they replace new hires, the old employees retire and robots replace them.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing but it is a thing.

We need to reduce taxes and regulations and stop importing cheap labor or allowing imports from slave labor.

Hopefully the robot/job issue will work itself out but if it doesn’t then we need to think of ideas like my right to a job in the militia idea.

What purpose do you think all this modern machinery is for??? It’s to cut labor cost.

This idea that you can endlessly automate labor and somehow (magic puff of smoke) it never cuts actual labor defies all common sense and even your actual senses. I ask are there as many grocery store or other check out clerks as there used to be? This is just one little thing but this sort of automation is all throughout the economy. Why do I have to keep pointing out the obvious that is right in front of people’s faces. It’s like this “actual” things you can see will NOT penetrate some “theory” that you that,”just must be right”.

Ever time people say,”well they can’t do this” I can usually find a robot doing it now or a prototype set up to do the job they say can’t be done. You don’t believe your own eyes? And why the fuck would anyone believe some business guy saying that robots will not cause any job loss. They supposed to tell us,”Oh yeah, by the way you will all be unemployed”? Hell no they are not going to say that. I fully agree that much of this makes it more profitable and easier to build goods but at some point the automation will start really cutting into employment. I believe it already has. How long before they have self driving trucks? Not long and if I remember correctly it was 30 something percent of all employment in some places and six percent of all jobs in America. Why is it that so many people in the tech business who are hardly idiots believe that jobs will mostly be automated? Sure the businessmen tell you the opposite but the people actually doing the automating are saying something very different. Who do you believe??? Well I know.

People who keep saying that automation will not cause job loss are like cargo cultist that build runways in the jungle thinking that will draw planes to land.

You need to learn history. Were more people employed in the auto industry before or after Ford’s automation of manufacturing allowed one of his workers to be more productive than a whole coach building shop before? Ford himself predicted this (PLEASE read his books) based on what had happened after shoemaking was automated previously. Employment in shoemaking exploded. Turns out even poor people don’t like to go barefoot.

How many guns would you own if the price could be brought down an order of magnitude?

That trend has been true in many cases so far but if robots continue to replace humans in more and more jobs it won’t hold up.

You can see an example in the jobs that went to China, they were not replaced and the average American was impoverished.

The cabal has a dream where they use robots to ensure that they need very few of us and after they steal everything they eliminate most of us.

Hopefully the robot/job issue will work itself out but if it doesn’t then we need to think of ideas like my right to a job in the militia idea.

You have in no way made any point what so ever. That something happened in the past in no way means it will continue in the future. A simple example. How many buggy whip manufacturers are there? How many horse shoers are there?

Since you seem to know the future so well then tell me if all transport is automated, check counters, store stockers, store inventory counters, most all the products manufactured by robots, cabs automated driving, buses automated driving, lawyers automated, security guards automated(see the movie Elysium), road work automated and I could go on and on and on…what do you think people will do for wages?

Be servants to the rich? Eat Soylent? Maybe we should all be in the “militia”??? Fuck that I was in the military I don’t want any more of that. There’s a bunch of tyrant assholes in the military. Plenty of good people also but lots of tyrant assholes also that you can’t get away from and we should follow orders from the corrupt “militia” government??? Hell no.

I know plenty about history. Far more than you obviously think I do and what we are coming upon hasn’t been done before.

The only equivalent is the massive amounts of slaves owned during Roman times. Substitute slaves for robots. There’s your almost exact equivalent historical example compared to what is coming very soon. Then all the average people were completely thrown out of work and the “Senators” and important people had vast riches far beyond what even the present billionaires had. How did that work out for average people? Very, very, very bad. Really bad. So even your vaulted “history” tells you that this is a real problem but your history lessons somehow only go back to Henry Ford.

“It’s the tax laws”

Taxes on capital are vastly lower than times in the US where we had massive employment. Rich people don’t pay much in the way of taxes compared to working people percentage wise. Rich people get capital gains tax rates that are half what a working guy gets. Make pay roll taxes and capital taxes the same. We’re told that the rich will not invest if they don’t get “special” rates. Well fuck them tell them to put their money under a mattress.

” It’s the environmental laws”

Maybe you want to go back to the times where our rivers caught on fire because of all the stuff dumped into them or have pollution like China where you can’t see the sky???

“It’s the higher wages”

Wages have stagnated for decades. It used to be a average workers could afford to buy a house, a car and have his wife stay home with the kids. No more.

What bothers me most is that we have direct and a very large scale experiments where large business and capital had to share the wealth with workers and we also have the opposite where capital called all the shots. The contrast is stark. In Germany we have a carbon copy of what we are in right this very minute and everything is going to shit. Hitler got into office and controlled the banks and large companies and in no time workers had vastly higher standards of living. Germans were going on paid vacations while farmers in the US were hanging themselves in their barns during the depression. (And don’t tell me this is just because of military production growth. The studies have been done on this and the economy recovered and boomed long before massive military production started.)

This experiment has been done. The results are in and just because some Jew asshole, “Milton Friedman” types, drones on about pencil production doesn’t mean he knows shit about making an economy work for everyone. What he knows is how to make it work for the Jews.

I have been buying Goya products for as long as I can remember and they are very high quality. Here is my own small contribution to the cause:

Goya Black Bean Soup (my own recipe)

Rinse 2 cups (dry) Goya black beans and then soak overnight in a large saucepan.
Drain water and then replace it with fresh water an inch or two over the beans (which will have expanded)
Chop and saute 1 jalapeno pepper for a minute or two and then add to beans.
Add 1 tablespoon dry garlic, 1 tablespoon of sea salt, 2 tablespoons of dry onions, 2 tablespoons of cilantro.
Boil (covered) on low heat for about 1.5 to 2 hours until beans are tender. Serve hot.
