One article was saying these volunteers, as well as young conscripts grabbed off the streets of Ukraine, were being sent out with only a few days training to the front lines, where they were told to engage with the Russians. The Russians would then call in artillery, and blow these guys up, but the more senior Ukrainian military farther back could then pinpoint the Russian artillery, and return artillery fire.

I view it more along the lines of the vine parables that are in scripture. The CCP was a bad vine not so long ago (still is imo) because of the terrible things it did to women (Han women no less) in forcing abortions and sterilizations.
Chinese culture, on it’s own, is mostly good or ok, especially the more traditional stuff. It would be even better if the Chinese were Christian. But again, the CCP prevents this.
So, the CCP is a bad vine. It is being cast into the fire. Chinese demography will ensure ageing faster than is normal, even though the policy has ended, the damage from 1 child has shortened the 10 generation cycle to maybe 7 or 8. When that hits in a generation or two, the Chinese economy will collapse and the CCP will be swept (burnt) away. The Han Chinese nation will persist of course, and a new government will form that has the potential to be righteous, and Christian. But it has been spoken, and the bad vine must be cast into the fire.
Still the CCP will likely outlive the USA, although like the Han nation, the American nation is eternal and will require a new government, a government that is actually Of the people, By the people and For the people.

It’s a short, standard motion. The deadlines are tight. Special Master appointed. I haven’t seen the motion from Trump, so I’m not sure exactly what duties they want, but generally the Master would look at what is and isn’t privileged, and what is and isn’t covered by the warrant. DOJ has until Aug 31 to come up with their response and to be in court to argue it Sept. 1.
Of note is that the judge is ordering them to also produce a “more detailed receipt” which heavily implies that the judge finds the receipt insufficient, and to notify the court about what privileged documents they have already found, and most importantly, what has already been disseminated beyond the review team and to who.
Procedure will be that the Master will hear it, make a recommendation (usually in writing) to the judge, and the judge will either accept it, or modify it (or even through it out and redo it) and issue the actual order. Give these tight deadlines, I expect that to happen pretty quickly.
Of note, these privilege fights usually only involve attorney client privilege, but this one also includes executive privilege.
I wouldn’t pin my hopes on it, but it isn’t impossible that the judge just says, “return everything and don’t do this again.”

I am absolutely convinced that not a single celebrity or political figure has committed suicide due to struggles with chronic depression. The media has attempted to create a myth of depression as an inexplicable illness. I do not believe that it is.
