The Nation Slides Away From Democracy, And Into A Fog

Possibly the most frightening article, if you view things as a trend:

As far back as the passage of the Patriot Act after 9/11, civil libertarians worried about the surveillance state, the Panopticon, the erosion of privacy rights and due process in the name of national security…

Will civil libertarians now speak up for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, whose career has been destroyed with a barrage of leaked wiretaps? Does anyone care if those leaks were accurate or legal?…

Lake also noted that leaks of sensitive national security information, such as the transcripts of Flynn’s phone calls to Kislyak, are extremely rare. In their rush to collect a scalp from the Trump administration, the media forgot to tell its readers how unusual and alarming the Flynn-quisition was:

It’s very rare that reporters are ever told about government-monitored communications of U.S. citizens, let alone senior U.S. officials…

Normally intercepts of U.S. officials and citizens are some of the most tightly held government secrets. This is for good reason. Selectively disclosing details of private conversations monitored by the FBI or NSA gives the permanent state the power to destroy reputations from the cloak of anonymity. This is what police states do…

While President Trump contemplated Flynn’s fate on Monday evening, the Wall Street Journal suggested: “How about asking if the spooks listening to Mr. Flynn obeyed the law?” Among the questions the WSJ posed was whether intelligence agents secured proper FISA court orders for the surveillance of Flynn…

The Washington Free Beacon has sources who say Flynn’s resignation is “the culmination of a secret, months-long campaign by former Obama administration confidantes to handicap President Donald Trump’s national security apparatus and preserve the nuclear deal with Iran.”

Flynn has prominently opposed that deal. According to the Free Beacon, this “small task force of Obama loyalists” are ready to waylay anyone in the Trump administration who threatens the Iran deal, their efforts coordinated by the sleazy Obama adviser who boasted of his ability to manipulate the press by feeding them lies, Ben Rhodes.

Some observers are chuckling at the folly of Michael Flynn daring to take on the intelligence community, and paying the price for his reckless impudence. That is not funny – it is terrifying. In fact, it is the nightmare of the rogue NSA come to life, the horror story that kept privacy advocates tossing in their sheets for years.

So basically Obama-era leftists have infiltrated the intel agencies and they are now using the machinery to try and neuter the President the people chose, because they don’t agree with the people’s choice.

Interestingly the Cuckservative elites are just fine with an unelected shadow government dictatorship of leftists. To them, a shadow dictatorship taking out an honest conservative President is great news for freedom:

On the other hand, Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard openly endorsed the Deep State overthrowing the American electorate and overturning the results of the 2016 election:

Obviously strongly prefer normal democratic and constitutional politics. But if it comes to it, prefer the deep state to the Trump state.

— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) February 14, 2017

Remember that cocksucker’s name when the shit goes down.

Meanwhile Fox points out that unmasking American citizen Flynn from the redacted Embassy surveillance file took a high level clearance that few have:

Herridge said that identifying the American caller for surveillance purposes, in this case Flynn, “needs sign-off at the highest levels.”

House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said authorization would have been needed to unmask Flynn’s name.

“If in fact the press reports are right, someone made the decision to deliberately listen to General Flynn’s phone calls,” said Nunes, calling it “unprecedented, unwarranted and flat-out wrong.”

Presdient Trump is not the kind of guy who plays second fiddle to anyone. He will not go down without a fight, and as a thrill seeking psychology, expect him to take the thrilling path.

There is a good chance this will be traceable using the very surveillance machinery that was exploited to take down Flynn. I hope the Trump administration realizes the power of the deepest, most covert levels of the modern surveillance machinery, and seizes it as quickly as possible to gain the high ground in the war to come. If he cannot seize it, I hope the creatives on his staff will realize there is another way to exploit his government position to level the playing field fast by throwing everything into chaos and anarchy.

Even despite the threat, these are very exciting times, if everything is as it seems.

Pray for the President.

Tell others about r/K Theory, because things are heating up

Since this country is a Republic, I hope it slides as far away as possible from being a Democracy, i.e., mob rule.

Brother, have you thought about applying for a job in the Administration? I’m serious as a heart attack. You know this spy-vs-spy stuff inside out.

I do pray for The Don and his beautiful family. Every day.

You don’t have any room for comments on your Soros article (which is yuuuge news), but it seems that great minds think alike:

They could nip this in the bud by direct action. Get EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE of the NSA, and contractors, to be interviewed by the FBI and ask them who bugged him and did they have anything to do with it or know anyone that did. Also ask did anyone tell them to lie or cover up. The worker bees at the bottom are not going to take a hit for the guys at the top who come up with these stupid ideas. Make sure they know they could be tried for treason for lying.

Actually the whole damn thing could be automated and done in two days. Put up a gov. web site and demand that all employees answer these questions. Make it a yes-no type site and if anyone says yes they know something then have the FBI interview them.

The idiots that have run things in the past view everything as being run in a top down manner where they can choke the instructions from above but in a networking world the guy at the top can leap right over the middle managers and get input from everyone on important issues. With this type management things can move very fast.
