Hungry mobs ransacked a food collection center, and a supermarket in Venezuela’s western Andean state of Merida on Thursday and reportedly even slaughtered cattle grazing in a field as unrest over food shortages spread through the country.
An opposition lawmaker from Merida, Carlos Paparoni, said four people had died and 10 were injured in the chaos over the last two days, but he did not specify the circumstances.
Four years of recession and the world’s highest inflation have plunged millions of Venezuelans into poverty, and President Nicolas Maduro’s authoritarian socialist regime faces mounting unrest.
Venezuela’s Information Ministry did not respond to a request for information about the latest disturbances to rock the nation of 30 million people.
Looters plundered a truck carrying corn, a food collection center, and a state-run supermarket, according to Paparoni, and a vet who witnessed the mayhem.
A video on social media also showed around a dozen men running into a lush pasture, chasing a cow, and then apparently beating it to death.
Now that they are cannibalizing the food distribution machinery, expect that famine to rapidly get worse. The only way out is to kill all the rabbits, execute all the leaders, and reform a free civilization from scratch. This food shortage is step one in that process.
All of this is brain training. It is exercising pathways that trigger discomfort, and force action to ameliorate the discomfort. It will create a totally different model of human and a totally different civilization.
K-humans are much less hesitant and contemplative. When their amygdalae trigger, they trigger action, and when they see a pathway to relief, their brains are trained to seize it immediately and move on. That is what is being conditioned here.
Right now, we all know the left is collapsing the civilization. We know they are setting Europe up for a multigenerational war with Islam. We know that in a decade or two everything is going to become Lord of the Flies, because of what the left is doing now. But none of us are motivated to stand up and assert our strength against their destruction of society. Our minds just don’t work that way, so we sit back and wait for the collapse and the horror. The K-mindset is much, much different. K-amygdalae don’t give you an option. You act.
What is interesting is that as they develop these pathways under conditions of do-or-die, they are attaching little epigenetic markers to various genes in their DNA as transcription of them unregulates to effect the changes. Those markers will transmit to their offspring and start their offspring off more K as children by upregulating transcription similarly, and as a result their offspring will be able to go even more K as adults. This same mechanism enhances degeneracy from generation to generation as times go r-selected, and each generation deteriorates further but I suspect it happens much, much faster in the K-direction.
I have known guys from K generations, who were even more Kified by experiences fighting in war. They were focused, aggressive, and perhaps to put it best, “no bullshit.” You wouldn’t have wanted to push them, because they wouldn’t push back – they would crush you instantly, without hesitation, almost sadistically. It was just how they were programmed.
Venezuela is heading that way, and I think an unavoidable outcome of it will be a populace that is ruthlessly violent and one which the government will grant increased freedom to out of fear of what it will be capable of.
And as soon as the Apocalypse hits, the same thing will begin to happen to the West.

It takes a special kind of idiot to run out of food in an age where you have chemical fertilizers and harvesting robots, as if south american soil wouldn’t be already very fertile. I’m just glad that the crisis in Venezuela hits the poor first and hard, since it was them who elected the regime of Chavez in the first place. Its a good example of why you sometimes need to be a malthusian and just get rid of the poor.
Right now we are in twilight. People know things just aren’t right and in many ways getting worse, may get sporty. There’s an element of cognitive dissonance. Also, who wants to be the tallest nail before there’s a need? Where is that point? No one would have rushed to the defense of an American submarine skipper who sunk a Japanese ship on 12/7/41.
In 20 or 30 years the world is really, really going to need the oil in Venezuela. There are going to be alot of badass mofo’s on top of it.

If new oil can’t be found and exploited there most certainly will be a reduction in global oil production. Just because peak oil happens 100 years after Hubbert predicted doesn’t mean the theory is false, and its an observation- not a belief.
