The DSM V was set to list pedophilic urges as a sexual orientation, rather than a disorder. When called out on this, the manual was updated to list sexual attraction to children as an interest, which would seem a distinction without a difference. In both cases, the manual maintains there is nothing wrong with sexual attraction to children, so long as it does not result in sexual acts with one who hasn’t consented.

I would imagine it would force the legalization of kiddie porn, and would be a step toward legalizing pedophilia between adults and “consenting” children. Don’t forget, pedophilia was a trait seen during the Roman collapse. There is no reason to think it will not appear here.
Vox is right, the pendulum will swing back. What will swing it back is anger, and what will fuel anger will be shortage. Right now apathy is all that is allowing the degeneracy in every facet of this nation. When apathy abates, the rage of shortage, combined with the degeneration (which will double the rage), will make for quite an interesting spectacle.

Speaking of pedophilia, muslim grooming gangs are pretty much already above the law over in britain right now. If you haven’t heard about the rotherham scandal, just look it up. The media, for the most part, pretty much ignored the whole thing. It came out last year that authorities were ignoring evidence of child grooming gangs because the perps were pakistani muslims and the victims were mostly young white kids. There’s been little to no action taken to solve the problem, last time i checked, and rotherham was just the tip of the iceberg from what i gather.
It could be argued that, in many ways, britain already provides de facto protection for pedophiles. It puts political correctness in a whole new light because it demonstrates that it’s literally being used as an exploit for criminals (or rather the r-type psychology of the public is being exploited by predators) and it makes you wonder who all is profiting off of the children at the very top.

It sure is for me. Shooting (actual) rabbits damaging flora in the backyard is yucky, but sometimes life requires us to do the yucky stuff.
PS: It’s astonishing that one of the Pacific Northwest states will use Medicaid to pay for a sex-change surgery for a 15 year-old sans parental consent. Treating 15 year olds as adults in this context absolutely foreshadows sexual consent law changes, or at least attempts to change the law.
As you head toward K, I think protection of children becomes so overwhelming that the perp must get killed. If multiple people want to help that is great, but the structural picture is of K-amygdala totally perp-focused, and freaked out by the idea of him getting away. As the society goes K, I think everyone wants the same thing, and maybe that leads to a willingness to let the system take care of it (because given the predominance of K, the system can be trusted), but I haven’t really thought about it.
That said, as you head K, I see people focusing more on the outcome, which is the driver in the amygdala, and less on the system, which the amygdala doesn’t really look at too closely. Thus if the system will kill him fine, but if he might get away, then he gets killed outside the system, and hopefully the system will forgive it, because the society is K. That is, K tends to produce K-moral-concerned mobs who will only let the system to the right thing, but the system is the least of their concerns.
That is vs r, for whom the system is the least amygdala-triggering means to stifle the expression of K-morals in the society, and thus the system must always be respected, as they focus on thwarting it’s respect of the people’s morality.
