Flashback – Jimmy Carter Assumes He Is Being Spied On

The world is a much different place than you are told:

Former President Jimmy Carter on Sunday criticized the Obama administration’s surveillance efforts, saying the country’s use of drones has been “abused” and that he communicates by mail with foreign leaders for fear his electronic correspondences are being watched.

“I have felt that my own communications are probably monitored,” the former Democratic president told NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “And when I want to communicate with a foreign leader privately, I type or write the letter myself, put it in the post office and mail it, because I believe if I send an email, it will be monitored.”

Notice, the laws no longer apply. Everybody knows it, and just accepts it. Of course Jimmy Carter doesn’t know that every physical letter he sends is noted (and cataloged digitally), and probably either opened, or sprayed with an evaporating transparency liquid that renders the paper temporarily see-through.

Right now government has transitioned from being about laws, to being about what it can get away with. But we will transition from that to government by force, maybe sooner than anybody thinks. It is a shock if you grew up thinking America was different, and the Constitution was some sort of shield for American freedom and greatness. The only shield we ever had was our K-selected citizenry and their amygdalae. As they have decayed, so has everything else.

It does not bode well for the online right, at least until the Apocalypse renews the American Spirit.

Tell everyone about r/K Theory, because the future is looking awfully ominous

“It is a shock if you grew up thinking America was different, and the Constitution was some sort of shield for American freedom and greatness.”

A belief that words on paper act as a “shield” for one’s liberties and rights is straight-up idol worship. There’s a warning about that somewhere…if I can just put my finger on it.

Carter should be relieved there’s finally a strong contender for his ‘Worst POTUS In History’ belt.

If your interested in this, you can find the “CIA Flaps and Seals Manual” (Paladin Press, 1975) online.
