Hillary asks NRA members to fight for the gun control she wants:
Hillary Clinton urged “responsible gun owners,” to form a new gun rights advocacy group, separate from the National Rifle Association (NRA) to “take back the Second Amendment from these extremists.”
It is in their nature. If there is a fight, they want others to fight the battle for them, and then hand them the victory. It is the martial version of free resources, where battles are just handed to them with no risk. they know of no other way to win. Moreover, confronted with a battle they cannot win, their amygdala forces them to believe that there will be others who will rise to fight for them, even if the idea is as ridiculous as the idea of gun owners fighting against the NRA to make Hillary happy.
It is a good sign she had finally stooped to asking gun owners to fight the battle for her. It betrays the fact that she sees no other way to win. Everyone else on that battlefield is clearly insignificant, even in her self-deluding eyes.
