Stefan Molyneux and Bill Whittle Back Again on Donald Trump

Bill and Stefan on the whole Donald Trump Immigration Controversy, and as always, brilliant. If you know a place to stick this where people will enjoy it, please stick it there. These two are the best voice for K-selection out there.

Great stuff. I watched a little mainstream media coverage and I sorta feel that Megyn Kelly-esque bile that the media has for him, but couldn’t really see the reason. For example, in this TyT clip the progressive host Cenk argues the reason they blur Trump’s face is that he’s not serious, he’s just scamming everyone and doesn’t really want to be president. But their mannerisms also convey a strong attitude of disapproval and “Can you believe this?” amusement. If you translated their smirks and rolled eyes into an actual argument, this is the best I’ve found so far:

Not related to this entry, however this essay by a self-proclaimed liberal (frankly, much of his writing comes across more as left-libertarian with a dash of transhumanism) on outgroup and ingroup dynamics (among other things) seems relevant to your interests.

That looks like a very interesting essay. He starts out mostly seeming to complain and fret over not knowing enough conservatives, which is somewhat annoying to me. Then he concludes that the out-group of Nazis is not japanese or chinese, but people who are similar in language to them (jews). Finally he concludes the out-group of “team blue” is just “team red”. I’m not certain if I agree yet but it does sound similar to r/K in that the r’s are supposed to act as traitors to the warrior Ks.
