If Seth did happen upon the Awan family’s IT activities, that could also have been a reason he would reach out to the FBI, and maybe end up dead.
It is amazing that the corruption in our nation is so great that just being a computer geek in politics can create so many opportunities for mortality. Was this Hillary’s campaign, the Clinton Foundation, Wassermann-Schultz, the DNC, Awan, or something else entirely? This poor bastard had so many people who might have killed him you can’t even tell who did it.
It is also interesting how there are so many people on parallel tracks, breaking all the rules and just doing anything they want. You don’t screw with my little applecart, and I won’t screw with your’s. Each offers cover for the other’s dead bodies, so nobody can tell what is going on.
If you are going to navigate that path, you’d better make sure nobody mistakes you for a threat to their operations, which given the number of operators seems as much chance as anything.

Still somehow fedgov let his brothers, wife and children get to Pakistan. FBI had to have known that, they have the assets. There is just something so pathetic about federal lawmen in this country, they act like women. They don’t enforce the law and they’re not really men. Remember the blonde FBI interpreter who ran off and married the ISIS guy? She wouldn’t have done that if she was part of a high-testosterone organization, she would have been looking for field agents to date. FBI guys, lay off the soybean oil and PC agitprop. I think a lot of LE these days is hogtied by the deep state/intel apparatus, and that has to be a bit of a morale killer. You know there were FBI guys who wanted to tear into Hillary and the Clinton Foundation, but all of that is still a no-go, probably because of dirt the Clintons have on others. I’m sure they were chomping at the bit to tear into the street gangs made up of illegal immigrants, but Obama tied them up on that. Local LE can’t do a lot of shit today, and is somehow controlled by the deep state, having to drop everything to carry out their errands on a moments notice.
There was a time when Hoover created his Heavy Squad, and they just went out, identified the bad actors, and traveled around the country hunting and killing them. But today there is just too much political bullshit, and blackmail and bribery by rabbits at the top who have seized control of all the machinery.
Their situation is very much like the rest of us. Yeah it is all fucked up, and truth be told the only moral option is probably a revolution. But who revolts with 257 channels of cable TV, movies on demand, total safety, and the ability to buy ten times as much gourmet food as your family could possibly eat?
What we all need, is Apocalypse.
I agree, I know there are still some real gunslingers though. But as time goes on I’ve noticed LE at all levels become more and more PC and “soft” for certain cases, although some smaller local police are resisting. This Awan thing, just like Seth Rich is so over the line and obvious its destructive to law enforcement. If shit goes down in DC and the real dudes need a place to go, I’d recommend national guard units/governments in red states with uncucked governors. Those are the best places to continue the fight.
Pitcrew, there are definitely good guys at the FBI and most are the former Marines (there are quite a few). Some even, as you suggest, have a plan for if the stuff hits the fan. They will get to Quantico, where there’s an armory. This has all been discussed since Obama took office.
