So we have a big shitstorm in the comments over the use of “Holy Shit,” which unbeknown to me tracks back to a plot by “The Jews” (again) to trick us into blaspheming our Savior.
Except, the phrase is no such thing. I looked up the history of the phrase, and it says,
The word “holy” is often used with swear words as an intensifier, lending a sense of extreme surprise, shock, or disbelief.
It can also be seen as a euphemism, a way to avoid using more directly blasphemous phrases like “Holy Christ” or “Holy God,” which were once considered highly offensive.
This practice aligns with the historical use of “minced oaths,” where a taboo word is altered or replaced to reduce its offensiveness, while still conveying the intended emotion.
The phrase “holy shit” is likely a later development in the evolution of “holy” exclamations, following phrases like “holy cow,” “holy smokes,” and “holy mackerel,” which emerged as less offensive alternatives to explicitly religious oaths.
These earlier phrases demonstrate the tendency to replace taboo words with less offensive terms while retaining a similar level of expressive force.
So not a plot by the Jews, and in fact it was a method by which Christians sought to avoid blasphemy, and encourage others to avoid blasphemy through its use. So where did this Jewish-plot/Talmud bullshit come from?
I do censor pretty harshly on this site, though you do not see it. I can even kind of tell who the real posters are by how they get attacked. Farce is relentlessly attacked left and right. Sam gets it too, and Phelps has shots taken here and there as well.
An whatever you do, don’t have something to do on a day Vox Day stops by and posts, because you are going to have hundreds of comments calling him everything from the “gamma-king” (?) to “Vox Pay,” which apparently seems to derive from some rage these people have that they cannot create a few hundred fake accounts on Social Galactic for free and fuck up his operation. By calling him that, he is supposed to feel their pain, apparently.
So somebody out there has the contract to disrupt this site’s comments, but I ban most of them, and their comments do not go through.
Thankfully, one of the “Holy Shit” people began sockpuppeting and attacked Farce. So, we have now identified at least one of the “Holy Shit crew” as a shit-stirring rabble rouser.
I do not think these people are here on their own. Nor do I think they are smart or creative enough to come up with the “Holy Shit gambit” themselves. I will give my life for the Lord, on a moment’s notice, no questions asked. I have zero doubts that He has actually gotten elbow deep in the material world around me, to do me probably the greatest solid I could ever have wanted, and He is truly with me every step of this path.
I am quite certain He has no care if I say “Holy Shit” as an act of surprise. Nor do I think He would want His sheep getting all bound up every time they hear it, especially given it is the product of His flock, done in an effort to reduce any offense to Him. In some ways, its existence is a sign of some loyal follower’s efforts to reduce the incidental offense others might accidentally create, absentmindedly. It is almost a sign of deference if you look at the history, albeit one designed to rope in the somewhat more crude within the flock.
If Christians were using it in the fifties through the nineties, so prolifically I am prone to say and write it with almost no awareness of its constituent elements, it was not blasphemous. Indeed, I have never, ever heard it referenced as such outside of this site. Ever.
I am at about 98% that is the product of some deep psychological operations group’s experiment, supporting the rabble-rousers who have been getting banned for shit-stirring here. At some point, actually smart people sat down, looking for ways to create a subtle oppressiveness here. They wanted something where people are exposed to pressures which make no sense, and end up guided by peer pressure and a desire to get along, to comply with a pointless directive.
Understand who you all are. You are the Tier One problem-children in this thing’s world. You are independent free thinkers, who, through your beliefs, are unafraid to die, and you are guided by truth and logic. And you are probably among the .000001% in terms of your resistance to manipulation.
What this thing would want is to find some way to manipulate you. Even if they just did it once, in some inconsequential way, that once could be used, analyzed, reverse engineered, maybe even built upon, to manipulate you further. But to be a good test case, a good foundational example, it would require several facets.
First, it cannot be logical. Any of us can be swayed by logic. That is no big deal. To be a good test case, your behavior modification must not be based on any logic or fact. It must be based on a completely fabricated falsehood they created and control. (ie, “Holy Shit” references Jesus boiling in shit in the Jewish Talmud, and the phrase itself was introduced by “The Jews” to trick us). No. That is made up, and literally the phrase was everywhere, it was created to counter blasphemy, and I would bet nobody ever uttered that sentiment about it referencing Jesus in the Talmud, as of ten years ago.
It must get you to alter a behavior which is natural to you and common, Something you do reflexively, and which you would keep doing absent their intervention. It probably should not be a behavior you focus on too heavily or need to perform, but one which is ingrained, and within which ceasing it would not normally occur, absent their intervention.
You cannot notice the manipulation. You must alter your behavior, and think you have done it on your own initiative, for noble reasons. So it cannot be something which is, on its face, obviously manipulation. It requires a cover story which will make the manipulators appear genuinely motivated by noble motivations, and which will convince the manipulated they are acting under their own agency.
Ideally, it should be catchy, and hopefully draw in others in the group to pick up the mantle, and apply additional pressure to others here. I will bet those people, who adopt the idea and then begin pressuring others, have some special name in the research, like “organic enforcers” or something.
And I think I see that here. The premise is total bullshit, a falsehood, conjured out of thin air by somebody in the last two or three years, probably, but there are people here who have absorbed it and feel it is maybe something worth defending, even though there is no historical or logical basis for it just five to ten years ago, little doubt God is not judging people who use it absentmindedly, as I have, and indeed it was an anti-blasphemy measure.
I was an active user of the phrase going on fifteen years ago, and at that exact time, right as I began the first turn toward this path, I was bathed in the warm loving glow you can see God raining down on people in Renaissance paintings. That warm glow is real, that was not some imagined artistic liberty, representing something abstract and never seen. Both I and a relative were bathed in it, (I assume to leave no doubt in me it was real, and not some cognitive misfiring in me alone), and the relative actually turned to me and asked, to see if I was feeling the same thing. I was. God is not angry about this, I have no doubt.
We are the recalicitrants here. we are the ones who will not bow down, or be fooled, or take the easy path. We are their problem. And given how this thing works, it is dying to find some color-by-the-numbers script which would allow them to get us to take the vaccine, or accept the narrative, or bend the knee, while thinking we are doing it of our own volition – and doing it with the zeal of an SJW supporting any of the myriad of self-destructive things they are tricked into fighting for as if their lives depended on it.
We are not giving data to the enemy here, even if it is only a 1% chance – and here, given how false the premise was, about the phrase referencing Jesus “in shit,” and the idea throwing in “The Jews” for good measure – it is just too well crafted. It has to be about a 96% probability, at least, this is a test of manipulation techniques.
So I will no longer approve any comment with any admonition about the phrase, and I am going to up my game looking for people pulling this “Use my pronouns or else” bullshit to try and create pressures and forces that will control meaningless behaviors of others here.
If you are genuinely still offended by the phrase, then do not read further when you see it, that is your right. You probably do not want to see what such a heathen said anyway. But keep it to yourself.
