News Briefs – 07/02/2022

Here are some news stories that might be of interest. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of an unreliable news media, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages.

We have a temporary advertiser, The Daily Financial Trends – a financial news aggregator designed to deliver the data other financial sites deliver in a fraction of the time. Given them a click and see if you prefer getting your financial news there.

We maintain a light, news-story-only, very mobile-friendly  version of this site, with no comments, at https://www.rkpolitics.com

DFT – Crypto-Brokerage Voyager Digital Goes Under. An interesting article. What it looks like is going on to me, is they created numerous crypto entities whose purpose ostensibly was to get you a return on your crypto, like fractional banking. You park your crypto with them, they loan it out, and get you a return, and they take a share. There is one problem. Once they loaned it out to someone, it looks like that someone loaned it out to someone else, and so on. And they structured it so these things were all a house of cards, and the moment the crash happened, all these entities are all “freezing” customer accounts, and it is, “Oh, no anon, through mechanisms we could never have foreseen, all your tokens are gone. Well, thanks for playing, I guess we all lost on that one.” It will be a mess they will sort out for years, and everyone will get screwed in the end. But I know how sophisticated these intel ops are, and everything today is an intel op. I have no doubt at least a few of these, probably most, and maybe all, were all Cabal ops, set up for this specific purpose, because you would never have seen anyone lend you $644 million in bitcoin for who knows what the fuck. You need to be in the club for that. But these guys did lend it, as Bitcoin was obviously peaking, and everyone with a brain knew it would all correct for a good long time very soon. And those tokens all went somewhere. If you ever get anything, know there will be people out there who know, and who are looking to take it from you. And they won’t do it with a gun. You’d best start believing in intelligence ops, matey, because you’re in one.

DFT – Russia to expropriate Sakhalin-2 gas and oil project from foreign shareholders. Can’t really complain after we seize their megayachts. But brilliant move, given how now they can really turn the screws on Europe, as they fret about their winter gas supply.

Breaking: Langlade County Wisconsin joins Texas and Maricopa County Arizona to unanimously reject the results of 2020 election.

I thought this this quote was interesting, from this article about former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, after he was busted for hiring prostitutes“He was spotted periodically walking his dog and apologizing to random strangers on the street.” Why would he apologize to random strangers on the street? We do not get a lot of windows into the machine. For the most part we are looking through a glass darkly. But this behavior has only one explanation to me. When I first read it, it was in another article which described him apologizing to another random resident of his apartment building, in the hallway. We all know these people are a part of something, but we do not know how it works. Some, like Ed Buck, have some sort of agreement, even a relationship, with their watchers. But it is tempting to think guys like Spitzer, as Governor, had a more direct line to their command. Maybe even a handler. But it appears not. I think he was only being chastised with the scandal, and was not supposed to resign. I think he panicked and resigned, and this is him apologizing to his command for screwing up, through his watchers. He exits his apartment, and apologizes to the person who turns the corner to walk by in the hall as he is coming out. He knows who that is. Likewise, I would bet the person in the park was reaching an intersection of paths just as he did. Which implies there is no handler, or direct line of communication from him to whoever it is in control. I’d assume this article was them telling him they got the message, now stop it. Just another puzzle piece I found interesting, pointing to a highly decentralized command structure.

Zuckerberg’s voting organization has announced it will join with several others and spend $80 million over the next five years “to help meet the needs of election departments across the country.”

United Parcel Service is terminated the accounts of gun parts dealers – notes any packages currently in the UPS system may be “seized and destroyed.” They told both Brownell and Ghost Firearms, they were terminating the accounts because they “may be violating” laws concerning homemade firearm parts, and that packages they had, could be seized and destroyed.

Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Friday that he is “laying the foundation” for a 2024 presidential campaign, asserting that former President Donald Trump has “disqualified himself” from returning to the White House by his conduct leading up to and after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. I remember when they portrayed him replacing Clinton in Arkansas as a victory for our side.

Crypto-Brokerage Voyager Digital Goes Under. “

I got out of crypto about 3 months ago. Made a lot of money. Like A lot. Enough to buy a brand new car worth. What would it take to get me back in? Nothing, I’m done with it. It’s not secure, the exchanges are all screwed up, it’s basically worthless when the economy is dead. There will probably be some stupid “Gov coin” or “Globo coin” and there will be some retracement for Bitcoin and Ethereum but it’s too volatile and it’s usability is always going to be questionable. You are better off buying Gold and Silver, especially those bags of old silver coins- those can be spent. Other things, like guns, gun parts, tools and even microchips are also not a bad place to put some reserve money.

Here are some examples with good deals:
Silver:
https://www.apmex.com/product/23331/1-oz-american-silver-eagle-coin-bu-random-year

Chips:

Guns:
https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1025279774?pid=981108
(pretty good deal too)

And I’m sure Mr. Houser can help us on great tool advice.

Right down the road from the ICBM fields. Chinese drones monitoring US drones, just like in Colorado. Why would the Chinese want to place intel and drone force structure right next to US ICBM sites? Why are they able to do that? But we dare not call an ‘invasion’.

CNN suffers biggest ratings dip in SEVEN YEARS – Viewers plummet 13% in June in largest freefall since 2015 despite new CEO Chris Licht vowing to turn the network away from ‘extremes.’

The only audience they have left is the political extremists.
When they get rid of the extremism, the extremists are no longer entertained. At the same time, no one who isn’t extreme trusts them to actually report truth. That means that they are left with no audience.
Note that except for Tucker, the same applies to Fox News. When they fire Tucker, it will be the same situation.

and in the background, that little automated voice gets louder and more urgent. “Pull UP Pull UP PULL UP”

the minions flying the plane into the ground all think “screw that, I’ma double down some more!”

I love this story – that and the ‘2 newspapers die every day’ thing. Bad for America, bad for Western Civ, bad for the world…. but watching them weep while blaming everyone in the world _but_ themselves will be lovely.

Anecdote aside:
There’s a lady that was a secretary at Boeing known as “Bitching Betty” because she was the voice for all the cockpit warnings like, “Altitude, pull up. Altitude, pull up.”
There was a South American plane crash where in the clouds, the pilots misread their instruments and flew into the side of the mountain near the airport. (Don’t remember exactly where, not vital to the story.) When they recovered the voice recorder, this was the last thing on it:
Betty: Altitude, pull up. Altitude, pull up.
Co-pilot: Shut up gringa.
Betty: Altitude, pull up —
(Recording ends.)

There has been low level war between Ukraine and its easternmost parts, Donetsk and Lugansk, since 2014, so she might have been covering that. She is from Germany, but her dad is Russian, and she speaks both languages fluently, as well as English.

Germany’s ego is very invested in being a moral superpower and knowing everything better than everyone else, so her reporting was a full frontal assault on that. Look up Trump’s UN speech warning of German energy dependency on Russia, where the German delegation just smirked and shook their heads. That’s their attitude in a nutshell. Totally inconceivable that someone representing primitive red state gun nuts could know something they didn’t.

From Archbishop Vigano’s interview with Steve Bannon (thanks commenter Ed for the link yesterday):

So has the Great Reset failed? Can we sing a victory song?
A victory song can be sung only when the war has been won. The Great Reset is ontologically destined for failure, because it is inspired by inhuman and diabolical principles. But its end, however inevitable, may still take some time, depending on our capacity to oppose it and also what is contained in the plans of Divine Providence.

If the Lord wants to grant us a truce, a period of peace after we have understood how horrible is the hell on earth that the enemies of God and man desire, then we must commit ourselves to rebuild – not “build back better” but just the opposite – yes, rebuild what has been destroyed: the family, the bond of marriage, the moral education of children, love for our country, dedication to hard work, and fraternal charity, especially towards those who are the most defenseless and needy. We must reaffirm the holiness and untouchable sanctity of life from conception to natural death; defending the complementary nature of the two sexes against the insanity of gender ideology, protecting children from corruption and guaranteeing the innocence to which they are entitled. We must finally set aside the logic of profit – which is typical of the liberal mentality – in order to regain the pride of fulfilling our duty even when no one is watching us, of producing what we make in a professional manner and selling it at an honest price. And we must stop considering ourselves inferior simply because someone has decided that in their godless model of dystopian society being honest, loyal, sincere, and God-fearing is something to be ashamed of. The ones who ought to be ashamed, rather, are those who call for the killing of children and the elderly, the planned extermination of the population through wicked vaccine campaigns, mass sterilization, sodomy, pedophilia, and all the most deviant aberrations.

> No fault divorce and the way child support is done undermines marriage and family

I think most states have gone “no fault” now. So one spouse brings nothing into the marriage, does not work, watched TV all day, and then when the assets look good, files for divorce and gets half of everything, at the minimum. The other spouse has no choice.

Frankly, you’d be an idiot to be married and living in one of those states. Even if it was twu wuv to start with, the mass and social media are pushing “get your share and split” hard. Divorce is an industry now, not just involving lawyers and the court any more.

> Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Friday that he is “laying the foundation” for a 2024 presidential campaign

Hutch sold us out. The idea of him getting a nomination for President is laughable. Begging the Fed to send “migrants” did not go over well at all, and his State Police – who answer to him, not to the legislature – have killed too many people and damaged too much property lately; they’re just another gang now, except with fancier rides and a pension plan.

Of course, I laughed at Clinton, too. It was amazing; the “Bill Clinton” who ran for President was barely recognizeable as the former Governor. He had a complete makeover; new hairstyle, seemingly gained 30 pounds around the waist, and his Yankee prep school accent was some kind of hillbilly corn pone nobody here had ever heard before.

I still think Dollar Billy got the nom because he was the highest-ranking Democrat who wasn’t under investigation or indictment at the time. 1992 was not a good year for the Democratic Party.

you think they don’t dream of Trump AND DeSantis both being candidates? you think they don’t dream of a ‘Bull Moose 2′ deal? you think they’re not working hard on that right now? you think the GOP donor class isn’t helping them with that? whispering “3rd party” into DeSantis’ ears??

That’s what happens when they’re all pulling their news from the same sources. Almost every paper, TV station, and radio station use the same “wire” feeds, which nowadays have their own web sites, which in turn feed blogs, web sites, and banner ads.

When the Hooterville Haggler has the exact same stories, word-for-word, as everyone welse, who is going to pay for more of the same?

That’s also part of CNN’s problem; they used to do investigative reporting, but not they’re mostly just a packager. There are a *lot* of packagers out there, all seeking to get rich selling other people’s stories. Same as Hooterville; why suffer CNN’s idiots when you can get the same news elsewhere without as much annoyance?

> Bishops ‘heartened’ by proposed gun legislation; ‘troubled’ by court public-carry decision.

The Catholic Church doesn’t like personally-owned firearms; the Holy See has made its position clear on that for a very long time. The Church is a top-down organization; each diocese in the US answers to the Vatican on its own. Any Catholic cleric who does *not* actively oppose private firearm ownership is de facto acting against official Church policy.

It’s not just the Catholics; almost all nominally-Christian churches are in lockstep with the gun control thing. Other than some Revelationist Christians, the only church I can think of that approves of guns is the Unification Church, also known as the Moonies. They love guns, and tell their members to exercise their Second Amendment rights as much as possible. They still deny a financial connection to Kahr Firearms Group, though.

A whole lot of anti-Constitutional, pro-cabal hypnosis is delivered from millions of U.S. pulpits -especially from those of “mega churches”, as adult congregations sit in glazed obeyance, absorbing it all into the deepest pits of their collective soul. It is IMO more dangerous than pop media entrainment methods. Politically-instructed virtue signalling got its start in churches. Just one example. All bases are covered when it comes to securing “mass formation psychosis” control of the people, cradle to grave.
