No criminal charges will be filed in the investigation into Prince’s death, Carver County attorney Mark Metz announced on Thursday. The announcement comes just weeks after a leaked toxicology report revealed that the singer had died with “exceedingly high” levels of the drug fentanyl in his body in April 2016. Metz said in a press conference that there is evidence that Prince believed he was taking regular Vicodin and was unaware that his pills contained fentanyl.
“Despite their extensive efforts, law enforcement was unable to determine the source of the counterfeit Vicodin laced with fentanyl,” he said.
No worries though, it was all a big accident anyway.
If a junkie is found dead in an alley from a heroin overdose, the local law enforcement will go into overdrive to find the dealer who is selling the hot product, lest more junkies end up buying it and turning up dead.
But here a wealthy, elite celebrity was given pills he thought were Vicodin and they were really a hot fentanyl pill which killed him. And the speaker at the press conference said they were professionally manufactured to look exactly like Vicodin pills, apparently with the same stampings, color, and shape. And yet nobody is curious to find out where the fake Vicodin came from, and who was making Vicodin pills with enough Fentanyl that they could kill an addict. Apparently none of Prince’s communications or his associate’s communications were able to be tracked back to anyone who might have supplied the pills, and there have been no other cases of people taking similar counterfeit Vicodin pills which were made of hot fentanyl, which would allow Law Enforcement to track these pills back to their source.
Those pills are a signature which other LE would take note of. And the effort and cost it took to make them so well, would normally mean a big investment which would lead to lots of pills hitting the market. And yet they never popped up anywhere else.
It is almost like somebody made up a special batch of pills mixing Vicodin and Fentanyl in a dose that could do in even an addict like Prince, they invested the effort to make them indistinguishable from regular Vicodin because they knew Prince used it often enough he would be able to tell if they didn’t look right, and they delivered them perfectly through infiltrated associates, in a way that could never be traced. Think about the chances which happened to come together just this once on this rich a guy.
Now I wonder if they gave him HIV, and either it wasn’t moving fast enough, or they thought maybe he was faking his status to keep them on the fence about punching his ticket more aggressively.
I am sure there are a lot of strivers who will happen across this site. If you ever enjoy great success at anything, be paranoid. We are raised from birth with the idea that anybody can just do something well, and rise to prominence, and enjoy the fruits of their success, and nobody else will ever bother them, because that is how the world works. To us the idea of being free to rise as high as you want is conditioned into us from birth, and enjoying the fruits of hard work is part of the game. And we assume nobody else is ever watching us, because that is paranoid, and paranoia is a defect, or so we are told, so even if people would come for us, how would they ever find us if we stay under the radar? It is not like any big organization might ever evolve over hundreds, or even thousands of years to become big enough to control almost everything, and exploit governments and technology to do that.
No matter how you might think your background is totally secret, and your banking is confidential, and you can fly under the radar by dressing in inexpensive clothes, and driving an inexpensive car, and nobody could possibly know about you, there will be people out there who will see your success. You cannot hide. It is practically impossible, unless you could work entirely in cash with all you clients to eliminate all electronic trails. And even if you could deal personally with that many people all by yourself, that would open up other avenues of exposure.
So assume you will probably pop a flag in somebody’s computer somewhere, and they will check you out, and send people to get to know you. And if you have enough money and power they will have the ability to take you out if you are not ready for the threat. All you can do is harden yourself for what may come, and hope it will leave to look for an easier target, and decide you are not worth the effort and risk.
This is a different world and the US is a different country than we are led to think from our earliest days. Understand how much you do not know, and realize the risks that lurk in the shadows. Because every so often we see them pop out of the background noise, just enough to realize something is off.
Nothing is what it seems, and none of it is like what you are told.
