He concocted a plan to build a death ray machine, calling it Hiroshima on a light switch. His target was apparently Muslims and President Barack Obama, according to federal officials.
This week, the New York man and reputed Klansman and Muslim extremist was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
And one of the key witnesses in the trial of Glendon Crawford is from Murfreesboro.
His heart was in the right place on the Muslim threat, but this whole thing was ill-conceived from the start.
The X-ray Deathray sounds like fun, but who has the time to go house to house, sitting outside twiddling thumbs and waiting for the targets to receive a deadly amount of rads? And what happens when the targets notice all the fluorescent bulbs in their house have begun glowing without any electricity turned on, and then they notice the U-haul truck outside their house emitting the strange purple glow and low-frequency hum? And is this a globally scalable solution? Are there even that many U-hauls in the world? I just see problems all around.
My assumption has always been that if things turned K and Russia hadn’t solved the problem in a timely fashion, then the US government would deploy their fedguv wetwork guys to simply place carcinogens mixed with some skin penetrating carrier into the footbaths outside mosques throughout the entire world. The muzzies would show up, wash their hands and their feet before prayers, and a year later they would all be dead from mysteriously common cancers of unknown origin. My suspicion is we would never know exactly what happened, but overnight there would be a dramatic reduction in the size of the Muslim world.
Again, you cannot rush r or K. When things turn K, the entire government US government will go full-on Putin, and make this character look like a nervous Nellie, afraid to take real action to deal with the Muslim threat. Of course by that time, Putin would have gone Putin-on-steroids, making US action likely far less necessary.
Until then however, trying to rush the shift to K before the resource restriction kicks in is just a fool’s errand.
