Psychiatry Professors Ask That Trump’s Presidency Be Ended By Congress

We are a different species:

Psychiatry professors from several Ivy League universities who argue Donald Trump is unfit for the presidency are calling on Congress to take “lawful steps” to remove him from office.

The professors’ letter to Congress, published by The Huffington Post, says the president’s supposed mental “unraveling” is hurting his ability to govern.

Scott Adams, of Dilbert fame, has posited that people’s mental frames cause them to see a completely different world. He said it is as if people went to the same theater, saw the same film, and came away having seen different movies.

I do not think his persuasion model explains why we seem to be seeing more and more different movies as we head closer and closer toward the Apocalypse, however.

My own feeling is that man only unites when the world turns harsh, and the rabbits are either killed off, or converted by necessity to K-strategists. Only K-selection kills off all but one phenotype, and unites the population in one form. When free resources hit, the high long-form DRD4 carriers go r, while the rest of the population remains K. Because r-selection only overtakes K-strategists slowly through out-reproducing them, r-selection will allow two forms of human to exist simultaneously, while at the same time allowing them to diverge as the r-strategists go ever more r under conditions of free resources and diminished competitive threat.

Right now, we have had free resources for long enough to produce some pretty serious r-strategists, and as they continue to go ever more r, the movie they see, filtered through the context of their r-selected instincts appears more and more different than the movie being seen by our K-strategists. From who are the heroes, to who are the villains, to the plots, to whether they are tragedies or adventures, everything is different.

It is possible this phenomenon may be what differentiates periods of regular war from periods of civil war. Regular wars would seem to be the province of nations that are mostly united, probably during periods of high K and limited resources. Civil wars may be the result of periods of peak r, when the splits in the population are so massive that there can be no reconciling them, because they are so wide neither side can even agree on what reality is.

And all of that ignores the fact that periods of peak r may be punctuated by the massive importations of foreigners in the hopes of one side that the migrants will kill the other. After Europe ejects the Muslims, I do not see how there isn’t a massive rebellion against the leftists and elites.

It appears we are heading to Civil War on this turn of the cycle. It would be interesting to know if the difference between war and civil war is whether the spark that touches off the hostilities comes right after the K-shift, as it will this time while r and K are still diverged in the population, or if the spark comes a decade after the shift to K-selection as it did with WWII, after K had been given a period to remove and convert the majority of r’s to K’s, producing united populations that were prone to fight for resources.

Spread r/K Theory, because history will eventually be seen much differently because of it

The AMA has repeatedly held that it is unethical to diagnose a patient with a medical illness without having personally examined the patient, and that it is unethical to disclose that diagnosis publicly. This entire exercise is unethical, and unethical medical acts are prima facie malpractice.

Their disciplinary boards should strip them of all credentials, and Trump should sue them for malpractice.

Ivy League Ph.Ds call President Donald Trump crazy for not wanting to import Islamic terrorists.

If I could send that headline back to 2002. The left has managed to move the overton window so far its amazing.

Maybe OT, maybe not. I’ve begun reading “The Balkan Trilogy”, written 50 years ago by Olivia Manning. The central characters are Guy and Harriet Pringle, an English couple living in Bulgaria in 1939. It quickly struck me that Guy is an r and Harriet a K, and that this is a source of constant stress between them. War is coming, and everyone knows it and prepares, or not, according to their nature.
Harriet and Guy are based on the author and her husband, and the events closely follow their real wartime experiences. I doubt that she ever heard of r/K, but she knows all about it.
