Roger Ailes Hit With Multiple Sexual Harassment Allegations

It makes you wonder how Megyn Kelly got her job, and what special skills she lists on her resume:

Fox News host Gretchen Carlson may be the highest-profile woman to accuse Roger Ailes of sexual harassment, but she is not the first. In my 2014 biography of the Fox News chief, I included interviews with four women who told me Ailes had used his position of power to make either unwanted sexual advances or inappropriate sexual comments in the office.

And it appears she won’t be the last, either. In recent days, more than a dozen women have contacted Carlson’s New Jersey-based attorney, Nancy Erika Smith, and made detailed allegations of sexual harassment by Ailes over a 25-year period dating back to the 1960s when he was a producer on The Mike Douglas Show.

It is possible, though you never know in these cases.

What I want to use these allegations to examine is the advantage technical surveillance devices allow when deployed in trained hands, given how ubiquitous they are with the technological advances today.

If this was true, then unless Ailes was writing down his sexual demands of these women on paper, while cautioning them not to talk out loud, these conversations would have been captured. If that happened, I would bet just about anything that recordings of most, if not all of such demands would exist in a file on him somewhere, whether they were made in an office, in a moving car, or elsewhere.

Would it be in Democratic National Committee headquarters? NSA headquarters? SVR Headquarters? PRC Intel? Maybe all of them. Ailes would certainly have been a high value target for anyone with political or business interests, at some point – controlling FOX News would be quite a coup. I wouldn’t even be surprised if different intel outfits would be bumping into each other while following him at certain times.

I was a kid, I’d never seen a man’s privates before. I jumped up, but the door is locked and nobody’s out there. He chased me around the office and at some point it dawned on him that this just wasn’t going to happen. He finally pulled up his trousers. He was very angry and rushed over to his desk, pulled open a door and had a reel-to-reel tape recorder going. He said to me, ‘Don’t tell anybody about this. I’ve got it all on tape.’

These could all be made up, but if true, that would be a bit peculiar, don’t you think? He would go to the trouble, back then, when audio equipment was far less accessible, to record the encounter – and in the process create hard evidence of his own criminal attempt at statutory rape? Would the sounds of a blowjob have been worth that risk?

If this was true, Ailes would have been running surveillance. The question would be was it his own surveillance to maintain control, or for someone else? If Ailes was owned by someone (say George Soros for argument’s sake, but it could be anyone), that would make you wonder, was this a reckless sex-addict willing to risk his job, or is he periodically told things like, “We want video of Megyn Kelly giving you a blowjob. Go make it happen – and make sure she is as demeaned as possible.”

Today, his entire office could be filled with enough hidden video cameras with enough angles to take a five minute blowjob and cut it into a short film for Sundance. Then they’d own Megyn Kelly, because you know she wouldn’t want that out in public.

Now I’m not saying that is the case, but I am using the allegations to illustrate a whole world of dangers which exist in the world of power politics that most people never even think of.

Back in New Jersey I got a call from Roger Ailes. He said, ‘How’d your meeting go?’ I said, ‘Actually he wasn’t available and I’m hoping to hear back from him.’ He said, ‘Ah, well, I’m sure you will. Have you changed your mind yet?’ I said, ‘I’ll have to pass, Roger. I’m married and really committed to my husband. No offense.’ He said, ‘Well, we’ll be in touch.’ And that was that. A couple weeks later, I called a friend who was very high up in the RNC and I asked him what happened. He said, ‘Word went out you weren’t to be hired.’

The scent of an organized network. Regardless of whether a guy like that is being run actively as part of a network, or whether he is just prone to that behavior, imagine how useful a character that does those things would be in that position, to whoever might be running coverage on that business sector, if there is surveillance. Just by his position he could compromise the entire FOX News Division, because he won’t let anyone rise to a position of authority until they have sexually demeaned themselves – and he has recorded it. Maybe he is an agent, and hands the recording to somebody. Or maybe he isn’t being run, but PRC Intel has a trojan in FOX’s computer network, and every time he saves a video montage in his private file, unbeknown to him, a copy is sent to Beijing over the internet.

Now flash back to Bill O’Reilly and the loofa episode. Then you had the closeted gay Shep Smith. All of them were potentially owned, if anybody deployed surveillance. The danger would be everywhere.

Understand that people routinely kill other people for fifty bucks among the lower castes in our society. What would a corporation do, when they could lose billions of dollars if the wrong news story hit the airwaves, without being couched in a favorable light? What would a foreign intel outfit do to gain control of an American media outlet and control the American dialog at the source? For a few hundred thousand you could gain control of a major media outlet, maybe a few of them, if you spread the coverage right.

Don’t think it isn’t out there. Maybe this speculation is all correct in this specific case, maybe it isn’t. There is no way to know. But people playing those games are out there somewhere, so be careful and keep your nose clean

The disturbing thing is, the more comprisable you are, the more I am convinced your career will take off in this fallen, controlled world. Ailles could very well be guilty of this, and if so, have gotten to where he is specifically because those in real power felt confident they could move him when they needed to. If so, Gretchen Carlson, who started all of this, would probably begin to feel the pressure soon. She would have just fucked with some very big players’ toy.

I should also emphasize that this may be in part why K-selection evolved morality, and the demand for it in compatriots, as part of its suite of behavioral drives. If you owned FOX News and these allegations were true, look at how Ailes would have left himself open to blackmail and then gone on to compromise your entire operation, person by person. That behavior is harmless, even beneficial, in times of r where the corrupted are elevated.

But when K-selection hits, somebody dies. In those times, that sort of weakness is the perfect way to get your entire tribe culled.

Then, in K-selection, only the devoutly moral tribes have the best advantages.
