McDonalds Franchisees Are Getting Worried

McDonalds is on the verge of collapsing.

McDonald’s franchisees are terrified for the future of the company, according to a new survey.

The operators’ six-month outlook for McDonald’s business is the worst in the 12-year history of the survey, which was conducted by former Janney Capital Markets analyst Mark Kalinowski.

“At least half of the operators in my region are on the verge of collapse,” one franchisee wrote in response to the survey. “With minimum wage for fast-food workers potentially increasing to incredibly high levels, we are facing a crisis situation. ”

Another said: “The operators sit on a cliff right now. With sales going in the wrong direction, all must be conservative in our decisions. It will take only one bad decision to put any operator down and out.”

Same-store sales at US McDonald’s have declined in each of the past six quarters…

One franchisee wrote, “We are tapped out,” and another wrote, “We may be doomed.” A third said, “Everyone is paralyzed with fear for their jobs.”

When the 2008 collapse began, McDonalds sales spiked. One article speculated that people went from more expensive restaurants, to McDonald’s specials. Now, those people have stopped buying at McDonalds, perhaps in favor of making their own meals even more cheaply.

ITZ approaches.

I almost never go to McDonalds because of the Third Worlders behind the counter and in the lobby.

I try to avoid McDisease at all possible costs. The only time I ever eat fast food is when I’m on a roadtrip and only if I have coupons along the line of free QP with purchase of small fries and drink or get an extra sandwich when you buy a meal. When we do that one I’ll large size it and me & wife share a meal for under $5. I also get good coupons from Hardees who I think honestly has the best burger. I won’t miss Micky Disease when the shutter the franchise.
