Government plans to let people “self-identify” as the opposite sex will put female prisoners at risk, campaigners have warned, after it was revealed that a huge proportion of transgender inmates are sex offenders.
A report by feminist charity Fair Play for Women found “at least 41 per cent” of transgender inmates housed in jails across England and Wales are sex offenders — compared to 17 per cent of the population as a whole — and that a further handful are held in maximum-security category A prisons.
There is a human tendency to simply dismiss sex offenders as evil, but if you grasp r/K, and the fact that sexual strategies are a part of reproductive strategies, all of this becomes predictable. Suddenly that a cohort which is reversing sexual dimorphism would also have an uncontrollable sex drive is not surprising at all. The only thing surprising is that this is even in the news.
Of course part of the thing which will make acceptance of these parts of r/K difficult pre-Apocalypse is that there is some element of a eugenical philosophy which grows out of this. Clearly if things like sex offense have a genetic element, then not dealing with it at the genetic level means one must consign society to having to deal with more sexual assault of the innocent in the future. Once you understand the problem, you see that the choice is remove the rapists and their genes from the world by any means necessary, or let innocent girls get raped.
Post-Apocalypse, I predict r/K is not only accepted more because of this, but it will produce tangible policy changes which will produce longer term solutions to the problem, starting with communities killing sex offenders who hurt their young girls, and most outsiders and government officials turning a blind eye to the events.
As a K-strategist, I have no problem with that, but I can hear the wails to the rabbits already.

Apocalypse could be a great boon to pedophiles. When the EBT cards stop working, millions of children will be out on the streets begging for food. A starving single mother will gladly trade a child she can’t feed for a ham or a few loaves of bread. Feed your adoptees well and remind them that if anything happens to you, they’ll be back to begging, but older and not as cute.
Children living with their fathers are absolutely off-limits unless you want to learn how much pain it is possible to feel without dying. But kids who used to depend on the government for food and protection are fair game. Who’s going to risk his life to white-knight for someone else’s bastard spawn?
Such pedo-geddons happened many times in the past, which explains why (a) some men are attracted to pre-fertile females (i.e. boobs small to nonexistent), and (b) whereas peak-fertility females (age 16-22) ruthlessly reject men who don’t meet their standards, pre-fertile females are friendly and open to all adult men. Not necessarily in a sexual way, but they are eager to please and will usually grant sexual favors if asked.
In other words, true pedophilia (lusting for little girls who have no breasts and do not menstrate) is an evolved biological mechanism to ensure ownership of children; unowned children are sure to starve or be eaten by wild animals. In the modern welfare state, government asserts ownership of children when they’re abandoned or when the government thinks they aren’t receiving proper care (e.g. if you’re a German who won’t send his kids to school, or a Canadian who won’t let them take gender-bending hormones).
That system ends when child-welfare agents stop getting paychecks, or inflation makes their paychecks worthless.
Interesting. So r’s who can’t compete as K’s in K fall back to that strategy. Could be. Could also have gotten its start as a strategy as, like homosexuality, an overshoot of simple early mating.
And gay pedophilia is a slight overshoot of straight pedophilia. Little boys resemble little girls and are not as closely guarded by their families. It’s very important for girls to remain unspoiled until a lifelong mate can be found. Boys are more resilient; if a boy is easily broken, he probably wasn’t going to amount to much anyway.
I think Daves right about this. In the past if there were no one to take care of children they would die so people either with no mate or with attractions to children would allow them to live. This set of genes would be enforced every time there was a massive famine.
I hear more and more about Women being attracted to kids sexually. Could be that since many don’t have kids like normally the genes responsible for being attracted to children are being activated.
