News Briefs – 01/08/2020

I always see lots of r/K related stories I think might interest the readers here, but I only https://twitter.com/TCPigott/status/1214713421498855424have time to blog about a few, so here are some additional news stories that might be of interest. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. For unknown reasons, in some browsers the tweets in these posts display best if you click on the post instead of viewing it on the main page. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of the Fake News, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages, especially about President Trump.

No Q. You can see Q’s posts aggregated live, and new ones which may have gone live after our print deadline at http://www.qanon.pub

So I am watching TV, and on comes Tom Selleck doing a commercial for some Reverse Mortgage company. Basically, if you are older and you own a $300,000 home, you go to them and request a loan, using your house as collateral. They calculate you have a house worth $300,ooo, and you will likely only live for eight years, and they will give you $20,ooo per year, as long as you live, and then you agree they get to take your house when you die, or you can pay it back with interest and keep your house. If you live really long, you win, because they have to keep paying you. But if you die after three years, they get the house, as I understand it, and maybe there are terms for some recompense to heirs if it gets too lopsided. Like any deal with a bank, I assume it is rigged so the bank almost always will come out ahead, and there are probably clauses and loophooles. But if you live too long, you can win. Then I was thinking, all of that is if it works like you are told. Suppose there is an intel outfit out there, which is paying attention to everyone, which is being run by the same people who own the banks giving the reverse mortgage, and which could arrange an early passing. Not a Rambo-like early passing, but rather a Brittany Murphy and her husband early passing, where everyone is still arguing about what killed them, and even if it could be discovered, you own the medical examiner, so you could still cover it up. Taking out that reverse mortgage could be like taking out a contract on your own life. Or, if you have an intelligence outfit out there manufacturing identities. What is to stop them from creating a fake identity which never dies legally, and sending their agents, as honest retirees under those identities, into a non-Cabal bank which thinks it can ride this bandwagon. Then they get to keep the house for use as a flop house for agents, or an observati0on post, and each month, checks keep rolling in to the operational slush fund. I have no idea if any of this is going on, but once you have a massive intelligence operation like the CIA operating throughout society, doing shit like Martha Stewart, you need to start thinking in these paranoid terms, because nothing will necessarily be what it seems. And if you don’t know about it, you are the target.

Feds recommend six-month prison term for Michael Flynn, say he has not cooperated.

McConnell is preparing the vote to change the 1999 Senate impeachment trial rules.

A Ukrainian International Airlines 737 carrying 176 souls crashed on takeoff in Iran, interesting as both Ukraine and Iran are Storm-related:

Was on fire before crashing:

One of the sources I troll for stories was @newsbreaking. It is now gone, and then I saw this tweet saying it had video of the Ukrainian airplane being shot down, and then it got shut down. Just an allegation, but could be:

And another:

We have had a long time, decades even, as has Israel, to tunnel under Iran, get under all of their weapons sites, and plant tactical nukes that could trigger collapses on command. Just saying.

24 more people arrested for deliberately setting bushfires in Australia this season.  Last count was 183 so this is 207.

NXIVM head Keith Raniere’s sentencing postponed indefinitely.

From here in the NY Times : “The French writer Gabriel Matzneff never hid the fact that he engaged in sex with girls and boys in their early teens or even younger. He wrote countless books detailing his insatiable pursuits and appeared on television boasting about them. “Under 16 Years Old,” was the title of an early book that left no ambiguity. Still, he never spent a day in jail for his actions or suffered any repercussion. Instead, he won acclaim again and again… But the publication, on Thursday, of an account by one of his victims, Vanessa Springora, has suddenly fueled an intense debate in France over its historically lax attitude toward sex with people who are underage. It has also shone a particularly harsh light on a period during which some of France’s leading literary figures and newspapers — names as big as Foucault, Sartre, Libération and Le Monde — aggressively promoted the practice as a form of human liberation, or at least defended it. A day after the publication of Ms. Springora’s book, “Le Consentement,” or “Consent,” which sold out quickly at many Paris bookstores, the fallout continued. Prosecutors in Paris announced that after “analyzing” its contents, they had opened an investigation into the case and would also look for other victims in and out of France.” Only now does the reckoning begin, just as Q tells us there is a Storm.

Ten thousand camels in South Australia will be killed to stop them from drinking water in the drought-stricken region amid fears that the camels are contributing to global warming by emitting methane gases. New York State now has a new requirement that the accused in a crime must be given the victim’s name and address.

The gun-control group March For Our Lives raised nearly all funding from secret six-figure donations.

Student Loan Bonds are extending their maturity dates, so people don’t realize they aren’t going to be paid off, and they don’t get downgraded. The Burleigh County Commission has shot down a non-binding straw poll that would have been put on the June ballot asking voters if the county should continue to accept refugees for resettlement. Residents who are not in the Secret Society don’t want refugees, but the Secret Society members have the Commissioner votes to knowingly stop it from becoming an issue.

BBC radio host Stephen Clement posts twitter montage of his family and then dies at 47, cause not revealed.

Websites are sprouting up that aim to be the inverse of Tinder, where you want children with a mate to help raise them, but not simply short-term dating. Is this the rearing urge of K trying to produce kids in a world where K’s look out and feel they are surrounded by r’s looking for purely r-relationships? I get the impression these are people who feel that the emotional connection to like-minded others is too difficult to find in this r-world, but they still want to rear kids in a two-parent relationship.

This next one is a shift that will occur among a lot of people which would not have happened if President Trump didn’t coin the phrase and use it. He  planted the seed, and now, nourished by reality, it is blooming:

Spread r/K Theory, because the news media are the enemy of the people.

Like reverse mortgages, the secondary life insurance industry is super creepy. They buy your insurance policy for a lump of cash, then wait for you to die while paying your premiums. Now just imagine your policy pays out extra for an accidental death….

Annuities and Life Insurance are both based on life expectancy. Essential they are the mirror opposite of each other. One collects money over a life time and pays a lump sum and the other collects a lump sum and pays it over the remainder of ones life.

Statistically, the insurance companies are pretty good at underwriting health health risks. In fact, if you can collect enough vitals such as medical records, prescription use, pathology reports they are eerily good at predicting life expectancy in individuals although they are careful not to openly discuss it. Measuring for heart disease is easy. Cancer is more like Russian Roulette and it is much harder to predict.

Build a big enough portfolio and you diversify the risk. On top of that they can use reinsurance for bigger claims further diversifying against risk. If they are prudent with their reserves they can even make money.

Re that Iranian woman and the blood on Soleimani’s hands. She makes a good point, it’s not like US presidents or UK prime ministers would like to start a war that killed a million people, including Americans and Brits.

Oh wait!
