Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of the Fake News, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages, especially about President Trump.

Strangely everybody made a big deal that Planters is announcing it is going to kill off Mr Peanut. Some wondered if that was a public go-code to Cabal’s hit teams to give Jimmy Carter a heart attack, to buy more time after the Impeachment flames out. I get the impression most of these articles that are about outrage over small things like this are actually put out to subconsciously convince you that this is the massive overreach, and therefore things couldn’t possibly be as bad as they are. I mean if they are bitching about grabbing plates at bridge overpasses and sticking them in a database nobody ever looks at, if that is an overreach, then nobody could possibly be listening in your house, or watching everything that happens on your specific street for the government/Cabal/Private-Intel-firm/whoever.

Although the Flu is very contagious, the virus can’t last long on surfaces, so as a result after everyone goes home at the end of the day, by the next morning a building will be essentially sterile, as the virus particles in the building all die if there is no human to live in. Norovirus, by contrast, can last weeks on a surface, so it can be very hard to keep everyone in a building from being exposed if one person comes down with it, and it requires active sterilization. Even then, weeks later someone touches the wrong surface and rubs their eye, and you are right back where you started. I’d think the Chinese have seen something that has spooked them. UPDATE – one source says it can survive for 48 hours in air alone, and is incredibly infectious.

I’ve said for years, way back on this site, when the plague hits, it will first begin in either the gay population, or in Universities, because the kids come from all over the world, and are packed together, exhausted, stressed, and poorly fed. If you have a kid in college, you should also have an emergency pandemic plan to pull them home fast, quarantine them for as long as needed in case they were infected before you got them out, and then keep them away from the school until things iron themselves out and you can see where it is going. I would not pull the trigger on the plan right now, but within a week or two, I think we may find a two-three week absence might be a good idea. It seems to be moving faster and picking up speed, so we should know fairly fast where this will go. Given it is airborne, highly transmissible, freshly species-jumped and mutating rapidly as it adapts, already jumped to multiple countries through sick people who traveled in planes with hundreds of other passengers, to places like universities and big cities, and they say the death rate exceeds the 1918 flu, it could be quite an event. Then again, it is possible its effects are idiosyncratic with respect to specific immune system vulnerabilities unique to certain individuals, and since it can’t infect everyone it will peter out. Only time will tell.
