News Briefs – 03/07/2023

Here are some news stories that might be of interest. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of an unreliable news media, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages.

We have a temporary advertiser, The Daily Financial Trends – a financial news aggregator designed to deliver the data other financial sites deliver, but in a fraction of the time. Give them a click and see if you prefer getting your financial news there.

We maintain a light, news-story-only, very mobile-friendly  version of this site, with no comments, at https://www.rkpolitics.com

If you have clicked on the page for this News Brief, this is a link that will take you directly to the comments section.

One of my favorite posters on Free Republic is Lazamataz, who posted this:

So, a layoff is imminent. My company, a health insurance company, is getting rid of a large bread-and-butter portion of their focus, namely Employee Group insurance. That’s the health insurance component that employers give employees.

Guess what area of the company I work for?

The layoff could occur as soon as 60 days from now, or (at max) 6 months from now.

So my manager, who really loves my work, gave me a inside-scoop that our area (Producer Services, basically sales commissions for agents) is going away. I think I better proactively move.

So, any Freepers who need a skilled web- and winforms-developer who is an expert in SQL, please contact me.

A little of what I offer:

C# and VB.NET, both classic and Core. Standard apps, console apps, web apps, you name it. Restful API’s.
SQL at an expert level, with emphasis on SQL efficiency.
Informatica 10 and earlier editions (that’s a publish/subscribe bus).
Dynatrace for Application Performance Monitoring, including Magellan (which allows Dynatrace to performance monitor down to the SQL level).
I’m very back-end but if you are willing to give me the chance, I could see picking up front end (Angular / React).
If you know someone who is in the industry in a hiring authority (or even not!), ping them to this thread.

This is a difficult time for even experienced developers. There are lots of people from Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, and excetera who are very skilled and who are competing with people like me. However, I got something they don’t: I’m not a liberal woke a-hole. 🙂

He is a solid dude I’ve talked with in DMs, I would vouch for him. Anybody who might be hiring and looking for a solid conservative who is easy to get along with, you can post a DO NOT POST comment here for me to forward to him, or contact him directly on Free Republic, if you have an account or are willing to make one.

Also, while we are on the subject, as we track forward into the abyss, if any posters here hit hard times and want to pitch their resume to the crowd here, or need the gang for some reason, you are free to use this place as free advertising if you wish, even with me in between people until they feel each other out, and feel comfortable connecting directly.

DHS has a program gathering domestic intelligence — and virtually no one knows about it. Massive article which I think is entirely made up as part of the psyop. It basically says DHS is going out and questioning people, after telling them the people they are doing an intelligence investigation, and giving them the ability to say no, and some agents fear this is illegal and the program is out of control. A normie will come away from it thinking this is the absolute worst domestic intelligence is doing, and even here, agents are opposing it, and the media is uncovering it, so obviously nothing worse could be going on.

Interesting dig here, on some Durham filings. It appears Durham might not be entirely dead. It gives nuggets here and there on how things have been manipulated, like Loretta Lynch was going to shitcan the Hillary investigation in 2016 if it began to look dangerous to her campaign, and promised a Hillary staffer that in an email, which was subsequently stolen in a hack and held by the Russians, who then summarized it in a document which Dutch intelligence was able to access and steal on a poorly secured (supposedly) Russian server, so the Dutch could give it to CIA. Because of a fear the Russians would release it after Hillary’s case got shitcanned by Lynch, Comey closed the Hillary investigation himself, kept control of it, and then was forced to reopen the investigation later, which Hillary’s camp says cost her the election. Had he surrendered it to Lynch to close, it would never have been reopened. Things which just happen to go a certain way are rarely as they seem in an intelligence-controlled environment, and every “accidental” facet of them can be purposely done. Also, Durham has grabbed emails from a Soros deputy as part of his investigation, nobody knows why, though it appears related to a possible charge that Hillary framed Trump for Russian collusion.

I tend to not get my hopes up these days, but it is always useful to contemplate, wildcards do pop-up, clearly there is some kind of conflict going on up there, and when intel operations battle, it is always possible one side’s wargaming can find a hole in the other side’s, and anybody can win.

Judge slaps election-denying Arizona Republican with new sanctions over ‘bad faith’ claims. “In a new ruling, Maricopa County Judge Melissa Iyer Julian argued that the purported evidence presented in Finchem’s own filings was enough for her to conclude that his efforts to overturn his loss were not made in good faith.””

Jan. 6 footage shows Capitol cops escorting QAnon Shaman to Senate floor. “Virtually every moment of his time inside the Capitol was caught on tape,” says Carlson. There was another video from another protest where somebody is warning this guy about how things work, and he says matter-of-factly, not to worry about him, he is military intelligence and knows all about it. Timothy McVeigh was a quasi-itinerant dissident-type with no visible job who was rumored to have been pulled out of Special Forces training to get glowed-up (fantastic article from Sam here). And Snowden’s official story of dropping out of Special Forces training, because of leg pain, and then not getting assigned to be a parts-clerk or something, just being released from his commitment, as a civilian, was identical to McVeigh’s official story.

Tucker Carlson releases evidence showing Ray Epps perjured himself in sworn testimony to Jan 6 committee. “In his sworn testimony to the 1/6 Committee, Epps said that he left the Capitol immediately after texting his nephew “I orchestrated it.” However, surveillance video shows him on Capitol grounds 30 minutes later.”

According to five Republicans familiar with the discussions, the governor’s top lieutenants have quietly recruited a network of conservative social media influencers as part of a broader attempt to circumvent the mainstream press and appeal directly to GOP primary voters nationwide. I find these articles fascinating, as this site gets bigger, because I don’t need 5 million readers to know, those recruiters will never come near here to ask for my help (not that I would support DeSantis, but even if I would, they would never show). You read these things before you do this though, and think if you started a site, and accumulated an audience, and were successful at it, you would be just like them. But it doesn’t work that way. I can’t say how it works, maybe all the “influencers’ are Freemasons, and the contacts happen there, or maybe it is the intel network linking up the people who do surveillance. I do not know. But I know there is some unexplained aspect to it, and if you do note know you are in the club, you will never be invited to play in that sandbox.

It is probably as major an event as Cabal’s leaders shifting from leading publicly (if they ever did) to hiding in the Vatican, to using royals as front-people in puppet-monarchies managed by the Vatican, or the shift from puppet monarchies to fake-democracy. Now it is a shift from fake-democracy as the power they hide behind, to private-tech-oligarchy trying to use freedom-arguments to weaken government relative to the private companies. Bringing everything into the private sector might mean they see something happening, whereby they lose the government.

Whistleblower: FBI’s D.C. office tried to sic local agents on innocents after Bank of America volunteered gun records it datamined without any request from law enforcement. Chances are somebody who got screwed by this was the primary target, and intel asked this be done to get them. The rest were just collateral damage to cover up how it happened and make it look random.

It would not be significant to me, except these ad acting gigs can pay millions per year. In my ignorant days, I often thought how crazy it would be, to be so low in the acting game you are showing up to commercial auditions, and a commercial gig ends up suddenly paying you more than a supporting role in a movie like Minority Report. Of course now I know, if she has this gig, she is somehow in the network. And here she is pushing the psyop. And she is from Ukraine, which is some sort of Cabalite hive, and Jewish like Zelensky, who is also an actor.

Again, intel needs assets, but Americans raised with the Myth have a disturbing tendency to be loyal to it, even when they find out it was fake all along. I would prefer him to run for Senator from New York, for his father’s old seat.

If there are elections at all in 2024, the presidential election will be a sh–show, and everyone is just better off in leaving that state for Trump and Biden. Robert Kennedy won’t win any statewide office in New York; its a blue state and that means George Soros or Alexander Soros (there is a report that George Soros has finally died) will pick the Senators from there, regardless of who the voters want. But a Robert Kennedy run will get lots of media attention, despite themselves, and force Soros and the Democrats to spend resources in a state they thought they had sown up, at little cost. As a bonus, there is a good chance the Senator currently holding that seat retires, she has reportedly (and for good reason) shown little enthusiasm for the job this term. That means no incumbent or a weak incumbent.

The only question is whether he runs in the Democratic or Republican primary. Though he is a Democrat, I think the optics of a Democratic icon switching to the GOP will be good, plus the Democratic primaries will be completely rigged. Its not like the state will elect some hardcore conservative, the closest they got was James Buckley and that was both over fifty years ago and something of a fluke.

Our OWN VETS—STABBED IN THE BACK–by our government—BY OUR MILITARY. I have NOTHING but disgust and hatred for the blowjob Marxist cunts that run our Military! Totally devoid of any Morality, Situational Awareness, totally Converged Marxist Cunts—

Isn’t there a phrase in “The Oath” about “domestic enemies” and “tranquility”? What?

You mean our vaunted Masonic/Marxist scumbag Military doesn’t know its ass from a hole in the ground?????????????????

Tucker Carlson’s show last night was a stunner! It blows the lid off of all this crap! Ashli Babbit, QAnon Shaman–HAD BALLS and took their oaths seriously—–the US Military?????? Next time, hit them up for a cash discount. Credit cards don’t work for free; the card issuer deducts a percentage from what they pass on to the retailer.

Some businesses pay *much* higher percentages than others. Gun shops are usually in that group.

Re: Audubon

The Romans suffered a kind of psychic break with their own history after the fall of the Monarchy and institution of the Republic. It is very strange. Even the early Republic got almost erased. It’s eerie reading their authors on the subject. On the basis of architecture alone, the Monarchy had to have been a tine of great intellectual development. Obv, Idk what happened. But it seems like there was an intentional destruction of history some time after the new regime came to power.

It looks to me like our regime is trying to destroy our past and re-write what they can’t destroy. As in, at some point US citizens will think a 1985 Galleria Mall in CA was filled with black valley girls. And the Goths kids were black too. Shocking seeing how easy AI can create photos of false history.

My brain almost cracked when I made the mistake of watching some NCAA bball this weekend and saw an ad with a black female mechanic talking about how she kept the country working.

Idk, I suppose this “always happens” or “it has always been this way, you rube”. Maybe so, I am not very worldly wise. But I can’t conceive anything of this scale has been done before.

I’ve always said our problems are criminal violations. The proper tool is law enforcement and not judicial suits. SCOTUS is not going to run the country and they shouldn’t. Well… the current majority is not going to run the government.

Cabal is a criminal organization. In act and mentality. They want and need to commit crimes. Whatever laws there are, they will break them. They’ll choose the illegal path over the legal path almost every time. Even if it is less efficient.

Re: Banks

I am an admitted crank. And my crankery focuses on usury. Finance is usury. And usury is a weapon. That’s really what it is when you think about it long enpugh. It’s denial of resources on an individual basis and scales up that way all the way to the International level. The US is currently the nerve center of the usury regime. The City of London may be the actual seat of consciousness. But the US is where the decisions get implemented. Look at the plan for RUS. It was financial destruction. Didn’t work. Putin paid off the debts just before SMO. Now CHN is keeping US assets to counter any US confiscation of CHN assets. Same with RUS.

I think if one ponders it, one sees that the point of maximal return (control) for usurers is a relatively slow industrial collapse. At every level: individual to State. We’re seeing that globally. CHN and RUS are disengaging from the global economy because it is “collapsing” (intentionally). They’re trying to set up a parallel one as well. One disconnected from US “finance capital”. Or, US/London/ISR global regime.

This is why neolibs tell you “sorry anon there really is no acceptable alternative”.

Usury is truly evil. But much like every wicked machination, it’s a double edged sword that can just as easily kill the wielder as the target.

As the old adage goes: if you owe the bank a million dollars you’re screwed; if you owe the bank a billion dollars, they’re screwed. Their own greed and malice can be returned to sender.

Late reply. But perhaps the key false concept the usurers got ppl to believe (me too) was that debt=usury. They aren’t equal. They are categorically distinct things. Debt is good. Helping someone is good. Helping out the person who helped you in return is even better. Allowing someone to help you is good. It forms a special bond. That relationship is fundamentally different than a usurious one.

Cancelling “debt service” and “interest” beyond the repayment of the amount leant is what I would argue for. And repayment to borrower of whatever interest accrued beyond mere repayment.

Entire debts might be written off as punishment for usurers and as discouragement.

What you might consider to be usury is an investor’s (saver’s) risk-adjusted return on investment in you, the debtor. Jubilees are one very good reason why usury is what it is.

Embrace the suck. If you cannot afford to borrow to meet your desires today, start saving (in your mattress, with zero return, to better match your philosophy) until you have the means to buy without borrowing.

I want to get in on this but must admit I have no idea what ” file an application” means. Are you looking for resumes? Forgive me if I am missing something obvious but I am just not understanding what needs to be done here.
This is something that I could really use right about now – for OpSec reasons I am hesitant to share too much on-line, so how exactly would I go about this? The TL:DR is – I have been working in the IT sector since the late 90s, have plenty of experience with many techs. In 2018 I was ejected from a comfy BigHugeCorp job due to “financials” along with about 60 other people. Since then it has been an exhausting game of being mostly ignored/rejected interspersed with soul crushing contracts that never pan out, ending in getting booted as soon I got done with all the crap work nobody else wants to do. I never imagined how draining it would be to constantly have to prove myself and beg for scraps.
All the while fielding the equally frustrating peanut gallery comments of “Oh your in IT, you should be able to get a job easy peasy!” to the other extreme of “Just start your own business”
Yea, I am 100% clueless on how that would work at this stage of my life and just want to pay the bills. I am no longer interested in setting the world on fire.

I guess – HELP? I would love to get in on some Not Woke team doing just about anything these days instead of this endless cycle of misery.

How do I get in on this without painting a target on my back?
I must be getting old and cranky because I see honeypots everywhere…

“Finally, an argument against EV’s even Sam can not challenge – they suck if you are running from the government”

That’s a rough one. I’ll have to really think on that. In fact I have softened my position on this markedly. Ever since phelps reminded me you could make fuel for your vehicle, I really looked into this and found this guys plans to use solar power to make methane and then upgrade to liquid fuels. It really caught my interest. You get the best of both worlds.

“Fuel from the sky: Cheap hydrocarbons from CO2 direct air capture and sunlight.”

https://caseyhandmer.wordpress.com/2023/01/09/terraform-industries-whitepaper-2-0/

This is directly related to the collapsing prices of solar cells. He says that right now the economics at a five year scale for payback you can create methane from solar and beat or at lest equal fracking cost(thanks Biden). Soar has been falling at a fast rate per watt for a long time. Maybe it will stop but it doesn’t seem likely. Likely gas supplies will more reliable because cells last so long and the tech to make methane and other fuel is known hundred-year-old tech. His plan is to use the cheapest process to make methane and then move into other upgraded carbon chemicals, jet fuel, diesel fuel, ethane, gasoline. Where he says others have failed is they used exotic tech to lower energy cost but his plan is to use cheap solar and cheap tech to rapidly build out as fast as possible. He has the numbers, they’re not crazy and make sense. We know how much energy it takes and at what cost solar needs to be to do this. Also there are huge areas that are essentially worthless for humans that would make fine sites for a large solar array. This also solves the storage problem. He’s identified several areas outside San Francisco where he could supply all their energy needs with natural gas made from solar.

My fondness for electric has ALWAYS been the aspect that you could make your own fuel. Now that I see there is a possibility to do so with solar economically, I might change my mind depending on cost. I’m still very fond of hybrids. My goal has always been self sufficiency and no dependence on foreign sources, not necessarily electric or gas or anything.

Also, for our purposes, the higher complexity fuels might not even make sense. Gasoline isn’t complicated because it gives it more energy. It’s complicated to keep combustibility after storage (all the volatiles that your replace with something like PRI-G for long-term.) We prefer gasoline over natural gas simply because the gasoline is easier to store and transport for the supply chain. Most engines can be converted from gasoline to LNG or propane with just a handful of part changes and adjustments.
If you are generating fuel locally and don’t need to transport it through a supply system, it might make much more sense to just adapt the engine to the methane than to try to add a bunch of VOCs to a methane sourced hydrocarbon.

Sooooo, after the explosive expose of some of the J6 vids by Tucker Carlson, I undertook a survey of the morning news shows!

First I watched MSNBC–Morning Joe is in Dubai for International Womyn’s Day. They mentioned NOT the railroading of QAnon Shaman at the beginning. The third segment of news was them “showing innoccous clips from Tucker’s show and then did an “interpretation”, defining it as a nothing-burger–Tucker going extreme; Tucker crazy lunatic.

CNN didn’t cover it as well in its opening hour. CNN had Adam Kissinger later on. Boy-oh-boy is Adam Kissinger, military vet–lost in space. He doesn’t see it. Calls Tucker all sorts of names. Said his committee did right!

But the biggest thing—-Fox News Morning show–absolutely NOTHING. They did have a segment on Ron DeSantis! —ohh, a WHOLE segment with a Murdock juror. Who the phuck cares about the Murdoch trial–when we have J6 people, and especially Jason Chansley illegally and perfidously sitting in jail–when he should be free! Fox News. These people are NOT on our side—NO conservative media is!

A military vet—RAILROADED—for a narrative, unjustly convicted–Judge Royce Lamberth calling him a liar—and Fox News doesn’t care!

We live in a full blown Marxist dictatorship with liars galore, with criminals in charge!

I can’t say how it works, maybe all the “influencers’ are Freemasons, and the contacts happen there, or maybe it is the intel network linking up the people who do surveillance. I do not know. But I know there is some unexplained aspect to it, and if you do note know you are in the club, you will never be invited to play in that sandbox.”

Anon they are made directly by the person directing the campaign effort.
Let’s say you are a politician, you have a budget, some of it is spent paying people hired through friends (nepotism) to make those blogs and youtube channels or whatsapp and telegram channels. It’s a job, but as they are tribal people, they only hire people they know about. At least it’s that way in countries like Argentina, may have some differences in the states.
Then all those people, end up as public employees at your, the tax payer’s, expense, and if you don’t like it, they extract your resources using the IRS + police and the judiciary.
It’s a circular system of control over the plebs as they are called here even by some of the leftist unions.

Banks increasingly back political scheme to track gun purchases by credit card. Bringing everything into the private sector might mean they see something happening, whereby they lose the government.”

On Jan. 6th, 2021, I was watching C-SPAN live coverage of the events at the Capitol. I was laughing uncontrollably as I watched the commentators babbling about security breaches while the Capitol police casually let people wander into the building. The visitors walked slowly through the big hall with the guide ropes in place, looking more like curious tourists than rioters. Later on, C-SPAN switched to exterior shots of DC, talking nervously about “violent rioters” while showing quiet streets with random people just walking around.

an Francisco: Wear a mask or go to prison. The City’s Health Officer Susan Philip has issued an order that makes it A CRIME to enter any of 15 types of facilities without a “well-fitted face mask.”

I’ve never seen the site Hotair before, so have no idea how legit this story is. But there is something off here.

Local bureaucrats can’t legally issue a rule, and then put ordinary people in jail for violating that rule. That goes against standard constitutional norms, and there are probably pretty direct violations of provisions of both the United States and California constitutions involved here. At the most they can issue fines if they have been given legal authority to do this. And the people receiving the fines can at least in theory challenge them in court.

Now in 2020, rules issued by public health bureaucrats, without any legislative action whatsoever, were treated as if they were laws, to the extent that I thought the plan was to get rid of legislatures completely. Many laws that did go through legislatures were almost certainly invalid, since they passed without recorded votes or quorums. So in Cabal World, this is probably SOP. But either the story is wrong, or they are pushing again to see what they can get away with.

That’s generally known as the “Typhoid Mary” law, though they dealt with people with leprosy the same way before that.

I’m not entirely happy about those laws and how they work; besides some Constitutional questions, they’re a result of pre-20th-century medical knowledge. Still, it was easy even for a layman to tell if someone had leprosy or typhoid; the Coof Patrol don’t need any evidence at all.

China becomes a roach motel for foreign investors: China goes the pariah state route and refuses to let investors withdraw their money from the country. There are rumors their economy is teetering, which is why they admitted defeat on the zero-Covid rules, and have stopped outflows.”

I think you will increasingly see more of this happening outside China as well. I think any investment is a lot less safe than even the paranoid thinks.

However, with China, I am increasingly thinking that the Cabal’s guy in China was Jiang and his faction, and not Xi. Last year, Xi got the upper hand and also Jiang died. Before then it was a situation of Xie holding the title but the former top guy holding the power, which historically has happened quite often in East Asia. My reasoning is that right after Jiang died, as Polistra has pointed out, the Chinese lockdowns started to be lifted and diplomatically the Chinese moved closer to Putin. Its hard to tell what is really going on but the situation is worth watching.

They’ve always done this. They saw how Soros and his ilk by rapidly removing cash from developing countries crashed their economies and causing collapses of their currency, coincidentally making their shorts stratosphericly valuable and costing the country they attacked billions, and they made it so they couldn’t do this. This is not desperation, it’s…strategy. It’s worked great for them. They’re better off without hot money yanking their economy about one way then the other.

>Another Pulitzer Prize discredited as propaganda: Remember the famous photo of a South Vietnamese police captain executing a Viet Cong guerrilla, which turned public sentiment against the war? Turns out the guy being killed was a death squad psychopath who had just murdered 34 people in cold blood.

I thought this was always a known thing? Maybe not the organized death squad part, or maybe I’m just getting mandela’d, but I thought it was always the case he had just been caught after killing people, hence the summary field execution.

The guy getting shot in the head was a war criminal. His crime? He had nothing in him to identify his combatant organization. International war law doesn’t demand much from combatants. In fact it has all of two requirements. You must belong to an organization which enforces internal discipline, and you must have something visible on that identifies which organization you belong to. The Viet Cong’s famous black pajamas works. A combatant could have a distinctive ball cap worn by everyone in the organization, or a distinctive bandana. Anything will work so long as you can be linked to your organization.

Back to the famous photo. The guy getting shot had removed all distinguishing marks. He did that so his opponents could not tell he was part of the fighting. That is considered the worst crime possible because it confuses the battlefield and makes it more likely non-combatants get killed.

Punishment for not wearing a distinctive identifying mark? Summary execution. Nobody on scene cared about psychiatric diagnoses or how many people the guy killed. They only cared he was out of uniform.

Flip side, almost every Federal agency has “investigators”, “agents”, or “marshals” now. The Department of Education’s goons made the news a few years ago. Pelosi’s “Capitol Police” has spies and investigators. So does the US Coast Guard.

There are over a hundred Federal agencies that have some sort of “intelligence” among the things they do.

TX lawsuit could freeze Biden’s attempt to turn pistol brace owners into felons, with new injunction request. Why not target the NFA, and get rid of the short barreled/AOW rules altogether?
There are several lawsuits and new legislation proposed. Rep. Clyde from Georgia has introduced the SHORT act (Stop Harassing Owners of Rifles Today Act). The description is : “A BILL To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to remove short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and certain other weapons from the definition of firearms for purposes of the National Firearms Act, and for other purposes.”

Sounds like he is going straight at the NFA.

Former President Donald Trump revealed Saturday that he plans to shut down the Department of Education if he retakes the White House in 2024.

There are 14 other departments to be abolished besides Education but it would be a start. I’m pretty positive the country could operate with the four cabinets that President George Washington worked with: War, State, Treasury and Attorney General.

I would suggest that “muh constitution” conservatives sort out first which powers they want government in general to have, and whether they should be at the local, state, or federal level first, before getting worked up about the org chart. Won’t be long now til Costco quits books entirely. On the book table, in the ‘new books’ part, there were just 12 rows of new titles. Established authors/big names only: James Patterson, Danielle Steel, etc. Most titles got one row. One title got **7** rows Guess which one. A crock of shit. Lies. “Assyrian siege of Jerusalem (circa 701 BCE)”. Neo-Assyrian Empire 911 BC–609 BC. So somehow the Jews claim that a hundred years later they fell because…they kicked the Jews ass. Blah, blah, blah.

Siege of Jerusalem (597 BC) Achaemenid Empire, 550 BC–330 BC

Rome did just fine. Spain after kicking out the Jews had the greatest period of their history. England when they kicked out the Jews had huge growth and welfare went way up for the people. Germany restricted the Jews and the whole entire economy went up like a rocket. They went from carrying wheelbarrows of cash to taking paid vacations while farmers in the US were hanging themselves in their barns from the FED initiated depression. Jews always say this, but in fact getting rid of the Jews vastly raises the standard of living for the inhabitants.

You can’t believe anything the Jews say. It’s just one lie after another.

Cabal appears to have two major factions, one appears to be Jewish and the other appears to be Roman. One populates media and law, the other appears to be more on the ground operations and mid level management. They seem to partner with each other but I suspect it arranged from a “keep your friends close but your enemies closer” mentality. They will both work together to prey upon other populations, but I’m sure that they are constantly looking to turn on each other or are constantly suspicious of the intentions of the other.
