News Briefs – 05/07/2024

Here are some news stories that might be of interest. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of an unreliable news media, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages.

We have an advertiser, The Daily Financial Trends – a financial news aggregator designed to deliver the data other financial sites deliver, but in a fraction of the time. Give them a click and see if you prefer getting your financial news there.

If you have clicked on the page for this News Brief, this is a link that will take you directly to the comments section.

We will be moving this News Brief to the main domain in the near future, so you will find this at anonymousconservative.com, instead of anonymousconservative.com/blog I have a lot going on right now, and it will take time to make sure it goes right, so not right away. I will try to redirect people from /blog to there, but if that doesn’t work, just go to the main domain.

At Sundance – Read the indictment against Henry Cuellar to understand why Congress never challenges the Intelligence Community. Basically all elected officials are allowed to make big bucks influence peddling, while FBI runs surveillance and documents all the violations they are committing, so later they can be blackmailed if they get out of line or prosecuted to take them off the gameboard.

A federal lawsuit challenging North Carolina’s photo voter identification law is set to go to trial Monday, with arguments expected to focus on whether the requirement unlawfully discriminates against Black and Hispanic citizens or serves legitimate state interests to boost public confidence in elections.

The federal government is working with left-wing organizations to turn as many federal agencies as possible into get-out-the-vote (GOTV) centers across all states.

Thomas Massie:

I once had breakfast with Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and about 18 other members of Congress in a private room at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington DC.

He was invited to speak on the topic of “restoring the constitutional balance of government.”

At the time of that breakfast with Scalia, John Boehner was Speaker of the House and Barack Obama was President.

There was concern that Obama was doing things we hadn’t authorized and Boehner had convinced most of my GOP colleagues there wasn’t anything we could do about it.

Scalia finished his breakfast and began to speak. He started by saying that being a referee between us and the executive branch was not his job.

He explained that his job as a jurist was to determine if there was harm and what the remedy might be.

Occasionally, constitutionality of a law was a question, but only as a side effect of Scalia’s job, which was to determine if someone had been harmed and what the remedy was.

He was adamant that his job was not to referee disagreements between the executive & the legislature.

Scalia then admonished us for asking him to fix any perceived imbalance, because after all he said, “Yours is the most powerful branch, and the tools you need are right there in the Constitution.”

/*paraphrasing from memory*/

One of my colleagues, a former representative from Arizona, complained to Scalia that impeachment was too unwieldy, impractical, and prone to political blowback.

Scalia said sternly, “I’m not talking about impeachment…”

Scalia continued, “You have the power of the purse. You fund everything you complain about. Quit funding it and the President won’t be able to do it.”

Most of my colleagues were dumbfounded. Boehner had convinced them the executive was too powerful for us.

I wanted to cheer.

I’m relating this story now because we find ourselves in the same situation today.

My colleagues, misled by our Speaker, tell you we are powerless against Biden.

They say we must win the White House or pray for the Supreme Court to save us. This is untrue.

What we need is a new Speaker willing to use our majority to wield the power of the purse for the benefit of America.

In just a few months, this Speaker has worked to give the Executive more authority and more money than even Pelosi granted.

Whats the problem there? Importing all that diverse strength to the economy has to more than offset any exit in the population, right? I guess it’s just a last F Y to the long suffering citizens of the once great country, and a subtle admission that the reverse is really true. FJB, Trudeau, etc.

How Attackers Can Decloak Routing-Based VPNs For a Total VPN Leak

[quote]I’ve been advising Cryptogon readers not to trust VPNs for a couple of decades, but not for this reason.

My guess is that a lot of VPN admins are checking their configurations right now.

Even if this DHCP exploit is mitigated, it doesn’t change the fact that the VPN provider can see every site you visit* and it’s an act of faith on your part that the provider is not storing your activity.

A Federal judge struck down Arkansas’ photo ID law in the 1990s. I still don’t think that was Constitutional. He did the same to Texas later, but I guess Texas had better lawyers, because Arkansas got photo ID back at the same time.

It’s probably not even the dozenth time very similar cases have been tried, but it doesn’t seem to stop the Democrats from filing over and over.

The interesting thing is, almost nobody in my area – the whole state, as far as I can tell – wants whole blood.

My doc said my red blood cell count was too high, and suggested blood donation, since my insurance wouldn’t cover medical phlebotomy. So I thought I might be able to sell some blood and make some beer money.

Nope. I could sell plasma or platelets, but nobody wanted blood. I didn’t want to deal with the Red Cross, who are scumbags, but it turned out they only swoop in two or three times a year for a “blood drive” at their convenience, set up shop somewhere for a few days, and vanish again. I finally found a place a couple of towns away that will take whole blood.

Ordering some needles and tubing off eBay was on the agenda by then; it’s more convenient for the blood center to do it, and I get a T-shirt each time, so what the heck. If I can stick a contact lens in my eye and give myself allergy shots, I’m sure I could find a vein if it came down to it, though.

[laugh] It’s not a jet. It’s an oversized quadrotor drone.

They specify a single occupant and a 62 MPH (55 knot) top speed in level flight, which suggests they’re trying to squeeze it into FAA Part 103 compliance. This would mean no airframe certification and no license required, but also very limited operational airspace, i.e. no “populated” area overflights.
Their choice of a quad-coaxial point octocopter configuration is a control response concession leading to a radically reduced hovering efficiency, which is already bad because of the approximately 7X reduction in energy storage capability of a lithium ion propulsion system (Joules/Kg) over an equivalent gasoline powerplant in its entirety.

The flight time is 20 minutes, according to the Jetson site. Given the speed, that’s enough to commute with if one charges it at the destination. Yeah, it’s not the flying saucer car of its namesake. But it may have uses for a very limited cross-section of the population.

And this, my friends, is how you get WWIII.

The Feral Government has already played the “trade embargo” and “mess with their money” cards, and armed and supported Russia’s opponents. They’re about out of options. We played the “sent soldiers and equipment but not really declaring war” card in the early days of Korea and Vietnam, which gained us nothing. But I guess the Fed doesn’t learn from experience.

About the voice to head guy who almost shot the pastor. I understand the tech is there. I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten it or if we’re all getting it every day. But I’m pretty sure if a voice in my head tells me to kill someone I’m not going to do it. And thanks to AC training, ground surveillance isn’t going to manipulate me into it by staging some silly events. It may be possible if they so all that AND slip me one of their lsd/mkultra fun time drugs, but even then I’d like to think I’m not going to go along with it.

I hate to be the guy complaining about comments not posting, but I think something weird is going on.

Yesterday I logged in in the afternoon EST, and only six comments appeared, two by me and another one by Phelps. I dropped three comments that morning. I’m pretty sure that by then other people had commented other than myself and Phelps. In the past month I have often gone to this site and the only comments showing were the ones I made that day.

This morning only 14 comments showed up for that day. There have been days when over eighty comments were made. I think there were comments that weren’t being shown to me. Ten comments showed for the the thing asking to download the American Stasi draft (which I did). Going to this day’s links, at one PM EST, I see 20 comments, a majority by TRX.

AC’s time is being seriously taken up by the book, but I don’t think this is an approval issue. This looks more like someone on the outside messing around.

The comment I made that didn’t show was a second attempt to link and gloss to the Kevin Barrett interview of Celia Farber at unz.com. I recommend going to unz.com and searching for Barrett and the interview, since I have never had two attempts at a comment not go through before, so there might be something sensitive about that topic that is getting blocked even from here. The computer where I saved the comment on the hard drive is having power problems, so I can’t repost it from there.

AC has often speculated as to why Cabal seemingly turns on Jews and offers them as scapegoats. I suspect that it’s just a means to push them to relocate to cabal’s next target. It’s clear that cabal plans on sinking America. So, clear the Jews out before things get really bad. Drum up antisemitism, and motivate Jewish cabal members to flee elsewhere. And then implode the country after most have moved out and claim that their antisemitism was an indication that they were a failing society and that antisemitism always leads to bad things.

Hey AC I got an odd story for you out of LA which I’ll link below. A woman owns an antique shop in Long Beach and 3 cars have slammed into her shop in the last 8 months. I checked out the intersection on google maps and it doesn’t look particularly dangerous or tricky. The owner told the news that she isn’t going anywhere but bills are adding up and she’s already $100k in. What are the odds this is just bad drivers vs cabal trying to ruin this woman’s business for some reason?

Can I ask the Zionists here, did we kill Geronimo? He was jailed and then released. Did the Anglo-Saxon hunt the American Indian in the same way the Jews in Israel kill Palestinians?

I once was for the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima until I learned that the Japanese DID ask for surrender terms but America only wanted unconditional. So I turned against the bombing.

I was also against the firebombing of Tokyo, the firebombing of Dresden, the airwar against Serbia. How many American generals were prosecuted at Nuremburg???? Now, I’m against what is going on in Gaza—Does this make me a Pro-Hamas Terrorist????

What is dividing us? I have NOTHING in common with people who don’t have COMMON DECENCY. Even War must be conducted with rules and decency. I don’t shoot men in the back. But there are tons of vids showing Israelis shooting UNARMED people (men and women) in the back and everywhere else, not only in Gaza but in the West Bank! That EVERY building now has been hit by bombs.

To see the bloodlust and evil in the Christian Zionists–I want nothing to do with you people. And then to call protesters to genocide “Pro-Hamas terrorists”. Then, you attack me because of the Christ Killers massacreing and murdering people with abandon??? Nah. People like Jim Holt, Mitt Romney, Lindsay Graham, Mike Johnson, Trump, still stand there and support what is going on over there…Menachim Begin is known as THE FATHER OF TERRORISM. It was the Jews that started the reign of terror, not the Palestinians. It was Begin that taught the Palestinians their trade. And Yet Christian Zionists, the Pastor John Hagees, the Bill Huizengas, that stand with Israel. Wow.

And yet these Christian Zionists are quick to protect the racist state of Israel but call me a Nazi! I remember the USS Liberty. As an Anglo-Saxon, I remember the bombing of the King David Hotel. –Why should I help the perps??? “Should I help those that hate The Lord”?

There’s a good book called, the Puppet Masters by John Hughes Wilson and he states the Zionists gained Israel by engaging in a terrorist campaign. This included bombings and shootings in the UK.

>  I learned that the Japanese DID ask for surrender terms but America only wanted unconditional.

The terms they wanted were basically “we stop fighting for a while and you round-eyes go home until we have time to re-arm again.” Tojo wanted the kind of breathing space the Treaty of Versailles gave the Germans after WWI.

“Unconditional surrender” was part of the agreement between Roosevelt, Stalin, and Churchill, back in 1943. Since the agreement was between the specific leaders, Truman wasn’t technically bound by it, or the “no separate peace” agreement between Roosevelt and Churchill at the Atlantic Conference. But Truman signing a separate peace agreement with Japan would have put a severe crimp in US-UK and US-Soviet relations.

So You read minds? No America had Ulterior motives as well! Did you know that Roosevelt INSTIGATED the war with Japan by cutting off its oil supplies???

America has Always been a DIRTY country. Masonic America WANTED to occupy Japan. Fuck that. We had NO need to. Masonic Jewish America wanted to occupy America, make the Emperor abdicate and put in Jew-mocracy!

So we VAPORIZE Japanese Catholics???? For Satanic Masons and Globalists??? Really? Christian soldiers work for Masonic and Jewish Overlords? Is that how it goes?

No.

So, we were supposed to sell them the oil they would use to take our pacific holdings?

There were lots of bad things about the war, including in the Pacific (the target choices for the nukes [super firebombings with radiation doping if you believe that] were one of them) but the war against Japan was actually in America’s defensive interest.

Commentary on the intelligence operation being waged in Congress & the coming election. Whose side is Massie on? Whose side is Marjorie Taylor Greene on? This article touches on some of the comments that anonymous has mentioned over the years. https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/05/07/theres-an-alignment-of-interests-for-the-trump-alternative-between-team-desantis-and-team-rfk-jr/#more-260547
