I always see lots of r/K related stories I think might interest the readers here, but I only have time to blog about a few, so here are some news stories that might be of interest. You can skim the titles and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest.

Popular British gun channel on youtube has to shut down production and produce a retraction video apologizing because the government labeled it extremist, and threatened to take the owner’s guns away. Freedom of speech is no more in Britain, and the despots who are in charge will be clamping down even more as Apocalypse closes in. Bear in mind, I will guarantee this guy got full-on, top level surveillance watching him every moment of the day, and it probably progressed to harassment surveillance once they decided his channel needed to go. This isn’t Kansas anymore.

One of the fastest ways to arrive at a world of no rules is when everyone is dirty, and everyone can simply threaten to out the misdeeds of those who might call them to account. Checks and balances evaporate. It is why Cabal sought to penetrate everything – and had to penetrate everything. And I have wondered if Trump’s chaos strategy in part is to turn all of them on each other.

Maybe. There are always outliers, who produce unique combinations of traits, and which don’t fit r/K.
And I should add, r/K is mainly about understanding the mechanism which produced what we see, as a means of trying to understand where things are going.
You have agency. You can make choices that run counter to your instincts and nature. That doesn’t mean that the overall species instincts change.
This is like the analogy of Chinese NBA players. Yes, the tallest NBA players are Chinese. That doesn’t mean that Chinese people are taller than Africans.
I do have agency. But what draws me toward conservatism and away from hedonism? According to biologists, r/K is a spectrum. Lions, for example, are a strongly K-selected species in which homosexuality has been documented. I would infer from this that r-traits can show up in predominantly K-beings. It would explain why there are groups like the Log Cabin Republicans and the Pink Pistols, as well as individuals like Matt Drudge and Jim Hoft.
