The Supreme Court could decide that the children of illegals, born in the USA do not qualify for citizenship, and it would be consistent with prior precedent. It turns out there is no legal reason to give citizenship to the children born in the US to illegals.

there’s one more hole in the idea of “birthright citizenship” which isn’t addressed in the american thinker article, and that hole is the injuns. if being born here to parents who were here legally resulted in legal citizenship, then why did the us congress feel the need to pass an act, which silent cal signed, which granted the injuns american citizenship? obviously the 1898 decision was out of step with the law as it was seen by the congress of 1922 who passed the law and sent it to cal in 1924.

One of your readers linked a twitter thread aggregator. I was reading around and found something interesting about the Awan case. I was wondering how they could possibly give them a plea deal. Well, he didn’t. The plea deal ONLY counts for the District of Columbia. Meaning ANY federal prosecutor in the US can try him elsewhere but it takes away the right for judges in DC to try him at all. WOW! Sessions is a genius. Months ago I thought he had given up and was somehow threatened into inaction but the whole time Sessions has been lining up prosecutions elsewhere were the swamp can’t control events.

I remember in 1987 thinking “this was a big year for news”. I couldn’t wait for the World Book Encyclopedia 1987 Supplement to come out so I could review it all.
I don’t entirely remember what all the news was back then (I was an adolescent), but something about this post has the same flavor: something big is going on, and even the news you don’t have the time to cover is more momentous than anything that has happened since the 80s.
I’m still pinching myself to make sure this isn’t a dream.
