As K-selection approaches, rabbity social forces give way to the wolves application of real forces:
A new wave of concern for media freedom in Poland rose among European Union leaders and independent journalists after Poland’s president signed a temporary new law Thursday that’s a step toward giving the government full control of state radio and television.
The legislation will take effect Friday and expires on June 30. By then, a sweeping new law intended to overhaul the state-run broadcasters and the PAP news agency is expected to be in place.
President Andrzej Duda signed the new legislation because he wants state media to be “impartial, objective and reliable,” his aide Malgorzata Sadurska said. She added that the president believes that the private views of journalists currently interfere with the objectivity of information in state media.
K-selection is advancing, when the wolves begin applying their will by force. That is amygdalae beginning to rise form their slumber, and caring. There will be more of this, and much of it initially will be directly attributable to the refugee crisis.
It is tempting to say freedom is more important than defeating rabbits, but that is wrong. Survival comes first, kicking ass comes second. The rabbits are designed to kill us all, and they are trying to set the stage for that with the migrant crisis. If we worry about freedom we may end up dead, and we’d take freedom with us. This is not the time for half measures. Where rabbits can be defeated, defeat them, by any means. Once the r-strategists have been eradicated, then fight for freedom.
This is Apocalypse. There are no half measures.
