US President Barack Obama has delivered a rebuke to conservative critics back home while on a trip to Malaysia by meeting refugee children and declaring: “They’re just like our kids.”
To the liberal, children are children, and their only use is political. Obama has no idea that a K-selected parent might prefer their children to another’s children, and given no choice, could be forced to choose their child over other children. I like kids, but if you think I’m destroying my own child’s future for foreign kids I don’t even know, that is not how it works. This statement actually infuriates me.
Obama previously said Malia’s right to not be burdened by a baby should allow her to terminate a pregnancy. Why is it that our right to not be burdened by waves of welfare-loving foreigners shouldn’t allow us to leave them overseas?
How ironic ISIS is doing more to protect this country by opening eyes to the threat of terrorism than our own President does.
