Hungary’s Prime Minister thinks so:
George Soros, known as much around the world for his billionaire backing of pet projects as for his image as an enemy of free markets and Western-style capitalism, has been accused by Hungary’s prime minister of sparking and fueling a refugee crisis that will topple Europe.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban called Soros one of several “activists” trying to take down the European Union via mass immigration from Middle Eastern regions, Bloomberg reported.
Orban said, in an interview on the public radio outlet, Kossuth: “His name is perhaps the strongest example of those who support anything that weakens nation states, they support everything that changes the traditional European lifestyle. These activists who support immigrants inadvertently become part of this international human-smuggling network.”
Orban has drawn the fire of liberal civil-rights groups for constructing a razor wire fence along the border and for tightening laws granting asylum to those from other nations. Orban has also been slammed for siding with those who want to stem the tide of migrants heading into European Union nations from Syria and other Mideast regions.
I imagine breaking the entirety of the Bank of Europe would be considerably more profitable than breaking the Bank of England was for Soros.
You have to get to know a narcissist intimately, to understand the pleasure they derive from the misery of others. There literally is no sharing an environment with them. If Soros is doing this, destroying the happiness of Europe is a feature, not a bug. He would do it, even if there was no upside, because to the miserable, nothing is as relaxing as looking out on others who have it vastly worse than you.

I’ve often thought that once K becomes more pronounced, someone somewhere will begin targeting Soros and his network of organizations for destruction. Maybe that will be a signal of the pendulum begin to swing back the other way.
Soros is the ultimate rabbit. He’s a jew who helped the Nazis identify other Jews while he himself passed. He’s unapologetic about it too, because he says that it’s what anyone would do.
Soros is a literal Nazi stooge and sympathizer. He literally aided the Nazis and is unapologetic about it.

Do you think stock market traders are predominantly r or K?
I’m not really sure it is useful there. To be clear, r/K is great for describing why politics exists, and when you get the extremists on each side of the grassroots, it is usually easy to classify them. It even has use in explaining why societies seem to change priorities, and wax and wane in strength and motivation. But with regard to other metrics it is not as useful. An extreme example might be hair color, but all along that spectrum you will find it is difficult characterize individuals within larger groups, without specific information. LE should be overwhelmingly K, but within any department’s ranks will be some insecure guys who wanted to authority so they could have control over others to assuage their amygdalae, so you can’t just say LE is K.
Traders I assume could be r or K. There are ex-SEAL officers who are traders because they practically want to succeed and enjoy the challenge, and they are as K as they come, but I am sure there are cokeheads who just want easy cash for blow. Then there is the issue of “does trading even define them?” Some may be totally absorbed by trading and it is their entire life, while others just took the job to pay for their life, be it family, or hookers and beer. Again, it goes to personal motivations, which requires individual examination, and even then it can be murky because sometimes intellect and logic can override the instincts, and sometimes intellect and logic will bend to justify the instincts. It can become kind of like applying Newtonian Physics to the Quantum Mechanical world. It all only clears up as you begin to look at the entire society of individuals together, but at the individual level it is of no use.
One big risk of r/K is that people will want to apply it too far outside of the political/instinctual sphere. Within politics the idea that these instincts create politics is so mind-blowing, it is tempting to try and carry the mind-blowing outside of that realm by applying r/K to all sorts of stuff.
But the only place I see it extending outside of politics/governance is into a sort of spiritual Bushido-esque code which will clarify for those who carry the K-mindset, why these urges which fill them are important, and why those who denigrate the urges and seek to attack you are in fact displaying their own innate inferiority. My hope is it will eventually clarify just how much of an enemy of everyone from libertarians to conservatives, the SJW/liberal is.
But don’t go too far afield in defining everyone as r or K, especially over something which may or may not define them. Many will defy classification due to the push pull of logic and instinct, which is tough to characterize precisely with any theory.
