They run a media report saying he surrendered:
NBC and CBS both falsely reported that leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump “abruptly” ended his speech and left the stage after being repeatedly interrupted by Black Lives Matter protesters at a campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday night.
The reports were flat-out lies. Video of Trump’s speech shows he ended the speech on his own accord. Other videos show Trump then mingled with the crowd afterward for several minutes shaking hands and signing autographs.
You see how these things get off the ground. One idiot says it, the editor feels a wave of relief that they have finally found a chink in Donald’s armor so he airs it. The lefty’s in the audience audience feel a wave of relief that Donald has finally lost one and so they believe it and retell it, and suddenly you are in Bizarro world. You end up lucky if after a few retellings the last version doesn’t have Donald shot and in a coma, unable to run for office.
Only with damaged amygdalae do things get this weird.
