Idiocracy Advances – Hot Water Challenge

It is scary what can happen when Darwin leaves the arena:

A new and dangerous trend has led children nationwide to suffer serious burns and, in at least one case, death.

The “Hot Water Challenge,” which kids say was inspired by YouTube videos, involves pouring boiling water on an unsuspecting friend — or, in one fatal instance, daring a friend to drink boiling water through a straw.

On Monday, an 11-year-old Jamoneisha Merritt of the Bronx was badly burned when friends poured boiling water on her face while she slept. In July, a 10-year-old Wesley Smith of North Carolina suffered severe burns after he and his step-brother attempted the challenge.

I’ve always assumed the tendency of people to ostracize the less adequate was a drive to make their group as fit as possible by driving away those imbeciles who risked making them lose. But as I see the effects of peak-r firsthand, and ponder all the smart people who befriended idiots only to get a pot of boiling hot water in the face, I now wonder if this urge actually evolved because those who didn’t drive away the idiots ended up dying in the prehistoric “Spear your friend in the chest” challenge.

The truth is, I notice that there is a strain of idiot which is either increasingly prevalent of late, or which I am just beginning to develop the ability to see. This strain of idiot has, on some deep level, accepted they will never accomplish anything of any note. They are also deeply disturbed by those around them with any sort of potential. Together, these cognitive programs produce an idiot who has a subtle, hidden drive to screw up the lives of all those around them who are not doomed to the same level of failure as them. You can usually spot them by the pleasure they evince at the moments when they have screwed up some opportunity of someone around them, and the moments when those around them fail at anything. It is a mixture of bliss and relief.

I am thinking that this strain of idiot is far more common than most would think, probably due to the covert way they manifest their urges to damage the future possibilities of those around them.

Over the eons, they have killed so many people who failed to eject them from their company, that the phenotype of successful human they left behind was a capable human with a ruthless drive that is innate to their nature, to torture idiots with sadistic ostracization.

Stay away from the idiots, as if your life depended on it.

Spread r/K Theory, because there isn’t enough Darwinian selection these days

Now I get why he said that.

I’ve noticed this shit too. Misery loves company. That is why eagles fly alone.

Also, that is why I acquired a motto some years ago: “Trust is a weakness.”
Good thing these fucking dummies are all doomed to get sick, starved and have violence inflicted upon them during the Apocalypse. They’ll be idiots surrounded by idiots with no actual bearings as to what the dangers will be (hello lack of sanitation and death by diarrhea and paper cut infections).
They are crabs in a bucket, these tall poppy syndrome ridden bastards.
Be polite, be professional, and always have a plan to kill everyone you meet. – James Mattis
Killing them can mean assassinate them in every non-physical way. If they target you, get close, study them, take notes and hatch a plan to give them hell. The last one to laugh laughs the best.

This reads like a personality trait of toxic narcissists.
