The origins of Spirit Cooking can be found in Cake of Light, a sacrament in the religion of Thelema which was founded by Aleister Crowley. The ingredients of the Cake of Light partially include menstrual blood and sperm. The sacrament is meant to symbolize the union between the microcosm, Man, and the macrocosm, the Divine, which is a representation of one of the prime maxims in Hermeticism “As Above, So Below.” The consumption of the Cake of Light completes a sacred circle, affirming an intimate connection between Man and the Divine.
In the video dated from 1997 called Spirit Cooking, Marina is seen writing in blood various statements, including “Mix Fresh Breast Milk With Fresh Sperm,” “Fresh Morning Urine Sprinkle Over Nightmare Dreams,” and “With a Sharp Knife Cut Deeply Into Your Middle Finger Eat The Pain.”[5] The video shows Spirit Cooking appearing to be a combination of an artistic performance and an occult ceremony.
Because their amygdalae don’t flag incoming stimuli sufficiently, liberals need shocking things to turn their brain on and feel alive. In many cases, these things are so shocking to normal amygdalae that they are uncomfortable to normal K-strategists with normal amygdalae. You might even be able to view importing hostile foreign savages in this light. We do not like the stimulation, as the sensation rises to the level of threat. But liberal amygdalae are not stimulated to the point they feel threat. All they feel is “vibrancy” and excitement – something probably similar to what we would feel attending an action movie. Since they think emotionally, that is what they want. The alternative is a state of emotional discomfort.
When you see liberals eating some sort of insects, entranced by the idea of mixing breast milk and sperm for drinking, or eager to look at wall-sized pictures of fingers inserted into the ends of penises, as Robert Mapplethorpe was known for, those are liberals trying to break through the fog of their dulled consciousness and addled amygdalae, to enjoy for a moment what you view as normal.
