Monocled Cobra on the Loose Near Austin TX

Readers in the area might want to be on the lookout:

Temple resident, Grant Thompson, 18, was discovered by Austin Police inside a KIA Soul… with puncture wounds on his wrist, and later died of cardiac arrest at Round Rock Hospital Tuesday night…

Thompson was also the owner of an extremely aggressive and poisonous Monocled Cobra that was not found in the car when ARR arrived, but has been reported missing from it’s cage in Temple.

The black snake with a tan underbelly and distinctive circle on its back could be on the loose near the scene of the accident.

Lets hope it wasn’t pregnant, and Monocled Cobras don’t become to Texas what pythons have become to the Everglades.
